Lekan Ajayi

Exactly; a well respected assistant. His .400 winning percentage and 8 years between head coaching stints radiates greatness. I'm sure Clemson would take him back in a heartbeat. If being a respected assistant qualifies one to be a great HC then Chris Collins is destined to be great right? Oh wait, that can't be right because you yourself said so.

BTW JZ, I'm not suggesting that anyone implied he's a John Wooden. I'm saying he's not a good HC period and arguing otherwise. Sorry I look at facts, facts which you take as ignorance.

True, you were the one who started the foolish talk about greatness.

Really? They made a Final Four? The folks in Manhattan will be thrilled to learn that.

Going to one Elite 8 sandwiched between three mediocre seasons doesn't constitute sustained success. I'm sure those people are happy with 24 win seasons and Sweet 16 appearances.

Kansas State made the NCAA Tournament every year Lon Kruger was there. They've made it 3 of the five years you are trying to pass off as some great run. As usual, you show your ignorance.

A lot of people overlook the state each program was in when Kruger showed up and how they looked when he left.

That requires a depth of analysis the type of people stupid enough to buy the act of scum like Bruce Pearl aren't capable of attaining.

I was referring to his record. 19-11, first round exit seasons are a dime a dozen. His 17-15 season was pretty impressive though. There's no point in arguing this over and over. I'm not impressed with Lon Kruger and let his on-court results speak for themselves. Same thing with Shyatt, combined with talking to Clemson friends associated closely with the athletic dep't. In your opinion I'm ignorant; so be it.

I'm not sure why Volnation loves Lon Kruger so much. I would just like to point out that Lon has had impressive success everywhere he went in the second or third year and then has consistently regressed.

One year is plural? Kruger won at least one NCAA Tournament game in every season but his last one at K State. Keep digging. Each and every time you post it makes my point about you.

I click on a thread to get information about Lekan Ajayi and all I see is discussion about Lon Kruger. Nice.

Says the guy with the math skills of a five year old, the spelling talent of a Lebanese exchange student, and who thinks making the NCAA Tournament 60% of the time constitutes a better run than participating every year. The only thing stuck in this thread is your head firmly in your ass.

I don't think they cared.........

No, he didn't win any the last two. If you are going to be such a jerk to someone about facts, you might want to get them straight yourself.

Again, I swear Kruger must have said hello to you at some camp with your excessive fanboy attitude to a merely decent to good coach. The guy has made two decent runs in the tournament and has made less runs into the Sweet 16 than Pearl has while coaching D-1 for more than twice as long as Pearl.

I don't know why we would want a coach who will peak at year 2-3 and then slide downhill. Kruger may surprise me at Oklahoma and change his past track record, but, right now, I can't ignore 25 years of his results.

I was gonna say Hat received an autograph but you're probably right, he must have used him as an example at a camp or something. Speaking of 5 year olds Hat; way to cling to a misspelled word (on a mobile while driving) for two days to divert attention away from the root of the argument.

What argument?

I was under the impression he was talking about the argument in which he showed he can't calculate a coach's winning percentage, has no clue about Lon Kruger's success at K-State, and had to resort to using elementary gay jokes.

Are you kidding me Law? A career record of 70-84 equates to a winning percentage of .450. Tell me if that's wrong. Show me where Frank Martin's winning percentage in his 4 years isnt better than Kruger's. Show me where making it out of the 2nd round THREE times in 25 years is considered a great coach? Hell, Pearl did that in a 5 year span and Hat argues that he's an awful coach (don't agree or disagree). Funny how some use or dismiss facts around here.
