Oh and I got an Enfield last week. Also a ww2 gun.

I picked up a Swedish Mauser model 96 recently. Love those old trench guns.

One of the few I don’t have. The Swedish guns tend to be the better quality Mausers. The fit and finish is just better. Probably why they’re more expensive

That's a 10 minute walk, maybe less, from my office.

Also glad the cops took a look here. That's always a busy place.

Not saying the guy was going to shoot up the place, but if he had there would have been lots of damage. And easy place to at least temporarily evade cops. Sits on top of a multistory parking garage, with multiple stair and drive accesses. Several residential areas around too, plus midtown just on the other side of the bridge.

Seems like a case of possibly being able to do something not reconciling with the common sense to know better. I’m going to guess some law was broken but in the absence of that I’d call 5 firearms “overkill”. But if he didn’t break any laws leave him alone. I’d also support the grocery store saying “GTFO and never come back.”

I’m guessing it was a guy that went to extremes to make a point due to the recent shootings. Probably not the smartest thing to do although I get why he would do it.
