I mean, considering it is almost the highest it has ever been, I would advise against buying stock in Nike at this juncture. June was the only opportunity to make even a paltry sum.

In businesses that employ men and women in similar capacities with unexplainable differences in income tilting toward men on a repeated basis and having equally contributing parts to the revenue or profit of that entity by each gender (and providing equal opportunity to obtain positions earning that income), as opposed to businesses separated completely by gender generating completely different revenue, profit, and interest.

Examples?

Most industries are totally competitive for labor and so differences in gender pay don't really exist when you control for factors like experience, non-pay benefits, hours worked, etc. In this day and age, if women are in fact underpaid in competitive industries, a smart business owner would swoop up all that undervalued talent and dominate. So invariably we end up with pretty equal pay across the board.

USWNT is not a competitive job landscape where one group of bosses holds almost all the power. The women can't go elsewhere. It's either strike or play for USWNT. It's one of the few places where women are somewhat likely to be discriminated against in this regard.

3 years and bored out of my mind every second of it. Usually played catcher because I was one of the few guys on the team who could catch a darn ball. Made plenty of the pitch signs. Cant remember what they mean but I remember pointing down and left, and making a circle a whole bunch.

Teams I was on were crap, including yours truly, so that might explain the disdain.

Also it's been almost 2 decades

All I've ever advocated is that US soccer pay men and women the same % of revenue that each generates. Do you have a problem with that?

This will still create a disparity.

USSF also says the men’s team generates more revenue. The women’s team generated $101.3 million over the course of 238 games between 2009 and 2019 while the men generated $185.7 million over 191 games, according to the federation.

That's fine with me, but like I said, they are cherry-picking numbers. USWNT has increased a ton in popularity in the last 4 years. We're talking exponential growth. They've made more each of the last 4 years than they did total from 2009-2012. They made twice as much in 2016 as they did during that 4 year stretch. I imagine 2019 is going to be bigger than the last 4 years, too. They're selling more jerseys than the men, for hell's sake.

I actually think there is a decent chance they could start bringing in more revenue than the men, not counting WC bonuses.

The timing of this ruling is interesting. This is the wrong time for "whiny" athletes to have this surface while millions are unemployed and struggling to make ends meet. I wonder if the federal judge had any idea how that would look?
