I didnt have these issues in 2019 and the political stuff was known then. Right now, it is a selfish, individual oriented brand of soccer. Rapinoe is barely playing so you can't put that on her. Players are griping about playing time in the press, going after former players, chirping at each other on the field, and displaying (absent Ertz and Moran) awful body language....

But let's not kid ourselves, Volette made those comments due to the politics, which is her right...

It's a good sport. Get him involved. Make sure he plays more than soccer. Lacrosse is another excellent sport that compliments and is complemented by soccer.

I played up to college. Fun game when you get to the travel level. More physical. Think lacrosse without the pads. I, too, hate running. But running to get a ball is different than running just to run. I hated conditioning for that reason.

I think "make" seems awfully strong. Most commercials are trying to entice you watch or buy something. Ive never really seen a commercial based on the premise that it can force you to do something. I haven't seen these commercials, but I'd like to know whats so coercive about them.

Commercials / advertisements try to make us like things. That's what they're for. I didn't read so much into it.

Oh for sure he has got to play something...he was given a choice before, but now he will be signed up for everything possible because of left to him he would try nothing

Putting the rhetoric some of these players have spewed @Jackcrevol , these women deserved to lose based on their unfounded arrogance. Barely scraped by the group and acted like it will be handed to them. Carli calling them out didn't change their attitude. Maybe the next gen of leadership can learn from this and realize that this is business.
