Winning at BG and Utah does not impress me as a great coach. (Good coach with potential to be great - yes.) It's similar to a Minor league baseball player tearing it up in AAA and AA ball. He may turn into a great major leageuer but it's not guaranteed.

He hasn't won at FL without Tebow or Mullen. Mullen may have been the key to Meyer's success in the big leagues. Tebow may have as well. If Meyer steps down now, he doesn't have to worry about tarnishing his rep by not winning in the big leagues without Mullen or Tebow. I'm not saying Meyer is a bad coach. I'm only saying he wasn't proven in the big leagues yet and stepped down when questions began to arise.

That's just nuts. If I'm Jeremy Foley, the first thing I'd do is punch myself in the face for being the AD at Florida. The second thing I'd do is put in a courtesy call to Bob Stoops just in case he's changed his mind from 5 years ago.

I predicted he would leave as soon as his golden ticket went to the NFL. He did, but was shamed into coming back. He needs to man up and take his beating.
