UFC 115 was probably the least hyped UFC in a while, but I think it was one of the best I've seen.

Franklin vs. Liddell was great. I was telling someone with fifteen seconds left in the round that Liddell won that first round and before I could finish, Franklin dropped the Iceman. AND with a broken left arm. Insane. Great fight. And probably the last we ever see The Iceman Chuck Liddell.

Cro Cop and Pat Berry was sick too. Pat Berry is going to HATE himself for not finishing the fight in the first round, not once but TWICE. The most surprising thing I've seen in a long time was the rear naked choke from Cro Cop at the end of the fight. He was even able to pull it off with no hooks in, which is crazy. Probably the best end of fight submission since Forrest Griffin choked out Shogun with seconds left. Again, Great fight.

I was really disappointed with Paulo Thiago. After two great wins over Koscheck and Mike Swick, he really just got dominated by Martin Kampmann. It wasn't ever really close.

Can't wait for Lesnar vs. Carwin!

I expected Martin Kampmann to win but not in a dominating way, Kampmann is just too much of a Well Rounded Fighter for Thiago and it showed.

Kampmann is okay. I don't like his lack of punching power though. Thiago is a bit overrated. His win over Swick was legit. But Swick isn't a monster to me.

Stayed away from this thread until I watched my recording of the event. The hit Franklin put on the Iceman was so violent and perfectly timed, nothing Chuck could do, but take it. Turned out to be a pretty good event especially as under hyped as it was.

I got Carwin just because he's the first person that Brock has fought that he hasn't just simply out sized. That rushing like a bull crap won't work on Carwin, at least i dont think it will.

Also.i'm not surprised Fedor lost, he is one of the most overhyped fighters ever.

Sorry ass Brett Rogers had him whipped a couple months back. He takes too many shots to the head.



The best fighters he fought was Big Nog, Cro Cop, Randleman, & a washed up Mark Coleman.

Roy Nelson could probably kick his ass.

Yeah, the bull rush will not work against Carwin. That said, Brock has the edge in wrestling and speed. Carwin has the better standup. The key is ring rust.
