Most physically painful thing you have ever experienced?

No. I had no idea at the time. My back was to the fire. He threw gas on the fire while I was standing there. Saw me catch on fire and said nothing. Next thing I know, I'm on the ground rolling around. They eventually poured the beer cooler on me to put me out.

Seeing your skin run down your leg is a hell of a site. Not to mention the smell.
I didn't go to the dr for 3 days. Thought i could "walk" it off. By day three it was green. I couldn't walk and was in tears.
My buddies picked me up and took me to the hospital. Baptist east in memphis.

I'll never forget it.

That's making my eczema burn just reading this.

While lifting steel up on an overhead crane the load shifted and pealed the meat off the tip of my pinkie down to the bone, went home took a couple painkillers and a couple shots then proceeded to superglue it back together.

Had to go to the er because I was losing movement in my left arm and side, turns out it was ms. Anyways had to have a spinal tap and found out after the needle was in my back that it was the 1st time for the person doing it and she had to have hit every nerve in my spinal cord. On top of that I lost complete movement of my left arm(didn't get it back for around 6 months) and every time I would yawn or cough my fingers would move by themselves to the point of breaking or dislocation

Oh ****... Sounds like we have a winner here.

My first kidney stone. Walking across the yard and this pain knocked me to my knees and started barfing my guts out. Had not a clue what was going on. Wife took me to the ER and I had a 12MM stone trying to exit my kidney. The ER nurse told me she had a kidney stone and natural childbirth and would take childbirth any old day. Had no prior clues that I had a stone.

I'm having sharp pain in both shoulders as I age. I'm thinking it may be tendinitis which can be very painful. It's very painful to move my arms at times too. Sometimes the pain well just flare up in the shoulders & arms for short periods all day. I'm taking store bought pain meds for the constant aches & pain.

I've got bad acid reflux and it's horrible when it gets in your upper throat and nose. I've vomited because of it quite a few times.

I've woken up a handful of times literally choking on it, springing out of bed gasping for air.

Oh yeah, when I had my vasectomy done, he went to snip the one side and it wasn't fully numb. I stood straight up outta the bed.. I screamed so loud, I knew you could hear me through out the building.

Winning post right there, IMO.

Broken tailbone twice, it hurts to sit, to bend, to cough, to laugh, and to fart. Seriously that **** hurts.

Got jumped by 4 guys once, they beat me with a 2×4, kicked and punched me till I couldn't move. Cracked my ribs, broke nose, dislocated my shoulder, broke 2 fingers, and split my head open. The combination of all of those was stupid painful. I know, hard to believe anybody would jump somebody as lovable as myself.

In high school I went on a ski trip every year. Those trips were my only foray into skiing, but I wasn't awful. My 3rd trip I tried out these things called snow blades, which were basically like little kid skis. They are far shorter, they latch on to the boots and don't automatically release, and you don't use poles. They were a ton of fun, but I made the mistake of losing control on a straight away with a fair amount of small bumps along the way. I almost made it (uncontrollably albeit) to the bottom when I hit the last little bump that sent me airborne. The front of one of the blades stuck in the ground as my speed was basically as high as it could be and my ankle got messssssssed up as my entire body just kept going until that one joint stopped me.

When I looked up, however, I noticed that one of the poles for a lift was about 4 feet in front of me. So silver linings, I guess.

......twss

LOL! :)

I hope this wasnt the result of a lesson from a favorite moral parable I know, Talk sh*t, get hit.

The 2 acl's I popped were really painful (as was the pt afterwards) but the most pain was from a pinched sciatic nerve. I couldn't move for almost 2 weeks without crying out in pain.

Same here. Sciatic nerves are nothing to mess with. Back problems are the worst.

My other instance is the time I had a cyst in my throat. Had to carry around a water bottle to spit in because the pain of swallowing was too much. Eating and drinking was a chore. Ugh that was miserable. Took 2 weeks for the steroids to work and get rid of it.

You at least get a discount or better painkillers?

I have taken some physical abuse over the years, but some of you top anything I can recall.

I think the worst I have dealt with is when I got curb stomped by a bull about 10 years ago. He was loose and I got a rope on him down in a meadow between two ridges. I was leading him down the creek while my sons were trying to find a trail back up the ridge to lead him out. The bull was ok for a while, but I guess he finally got fed up after crossing the rambling creek for the 5th time.

He rope burned me and made a big loop around, charged and hooked me. Put me airborne back first into a cedar tree. Gouging 4 branch stobs into my back and shoulder. Then hooked me again and gave me the business until my sons ran back down and drew him off me. I ended up getting stomped in the ribs, back, shoulder and chest.

I had a concussion, broken ribs in the front and around back. Punctured / collapsed lung, bruised kidney and damaged spleen. Shoulder totally trashed and I was bleeding steadily from the branch puncture wounds. Worst part was walking dang near a mile up the steep ridge to get back to the farm house. Spent about 6-months recovering. I did not get a good breath for nearly a month and coughed up / pissed blood for weeks.

This was the only time I was glad to see an ER doctor.
