The irony of this reply vs my post will remain between us.

However it goes to the larger point that people are moving from bad blue states to good ones like FL. We should ask someone who made such a move....

I wouldn't have minded living in Michigan. I liked living there. I moved to FL because my wife wanted to live there. And honestly, I'm not really a fan of living in FL 9 months out of the year. 3 months the weather is nice, but the traffic and the loonies that are taking over make me reevaluate that decision almost daily.

I’d call Sand Bernardino near uninhabitable without the man made aqueducts they had to build to make arid desert land inhabitable. And yes the hills above San Diego are also arid. Cross over the pass and you’re in the Mojave again.

California overzealously populated arid lands. Then proceeded to drain the Colorado River to try and make it work. The error for that bill is coming due.

I'm not going to argue that California, Arizona and Nevada haven't completely mismanaged their water supplies. Greed is good.

Until fairly recently, cross-dressers were ridiculed, people who mutilated children went to prison, there weren't medical offices where women could easily go and have their babies torn limb from limb, skulls crushed, and sucked out of their wombs, the government wasn't allowed to shut down private businesses, people weren't basically forced to take experimental medications, and you had to pee in the men's room if you had a penis. Oh and "Xir" wasn't a word, much less a gender pronoun.

The "Progressive" left movement has swung so far crazy that, no, there is no possibility of reconciliation. Conservatives have remained fairly constant through history (actually more liberal, certainly than 100 years ago). And, we hold many of our ideals not as "progess" or whimsical ideas, but rather as moral absolutes dictated by God Himself. That's not going to change.

She’s right. Why not have an amicable divorce instead of what could be very bloody and deadly?

All I request is for Red States to have an impenetrable immigration system so Blue Staters can’t flee their expected utopias once they realize they’re trapped in Marxist shitholes.

I have nothing in common with those people. That party if completely made up of communists and perverts. Democrats were usually descent people, we could disagree with some things but overall good people, unfortunately those days are gone.

I agree. The only hope is that the "left" gradually shifts back towards the center, where we can at least discuss common issues, rather than constantly battle over increasingly fringe/perverted/Socialist movements.
