Exactly...I could care less about a rumor. Just wondering what the next step is. Penn St got a commit from another hi-profile QB prospect a few weeks ago...AFTER Paul Jones had opened his recruitment up a little bit earlier this summer. That says clearly they don't feel too good about him sticking with his commitment.

What he thinks of us and what our staff thinks of him...I haven't read/heard anything about it

If you admit that no coaches are considering him, then what are you even arguing? It's always the real geniuses who don't understand why you don't make a guy with Cam's decision making history the signal caller of a major football program.

It is clear you have no idea what you are talking about...The coaches have already come out and said they are going to evaluate Cameron this fall...So please unless you have a clue what you are talking about, DON'T...That's good advice right there.

Cam will be a QB somewhere. We are not looking at him as a WR or anything besides a QB. That being said, the staff will be evaluating him more this fall to see how he plays in games.

Alright lets get back to the QB, I hear enough about politics. I was looking at the top QBs from Rivals and Scout.

Rivals.com Prospect Rankings
Scout.com: Football Recruiting

1. Heaps - I don't see him decommitting from BYU.
2. Bell - I haven't heard a lot about him since he committed. I saw where he said he is feeling more sooner than ever though.
3. Jones - I can see where he might not be solid to Penn St. but haven't seen any link to Tenn.
4. Sims - Bama Lock
5. Wood - Texas lock
6. Scroggins - USC lock
7. Rettig - I still think he could be had, BC just doesn't add up to UT.
8. Bray - look at Rettig
9. Hendrix - I can see a coaching change happening here and Hendrix being available later.

Do you guys see anybody on the two list that nobody is talking about that might be wavering?

For it to be a big fish, it would have to be one of the first 5 you listed. I wouldn't use "big fish" to describe Qb's 6-9.

Why? The guy claims to have information on a "Big Fish" at the QB position that the coaches are reeling in but won't elaborate. I don't know about you, but I like to have a little more information before I get all excited. Right now it just sounds like complete BS to me. Wishful thinking and pot stirring because everyone is worked up about getting a QB. If I'm wrong I'll be glad to admit it, but I'm not getting excited over one guys claim of inside information and nothing else to go on.

I think it is funny in the latest Rivals QB rankings that Malik Stokes is rated higher than Chase Rettig.

i think it's obvious that he doesn't have any more information to share. there is definitely no reason to get excited about our quarterback situation until we have something concrete. that would mean having a solid verbal commitment and right now we don't have that. i say 'lay off the dude' because it's obvious you wont get anything/if anything out of him. don't waste your time is all.

Not to mention I really doubt he has any more info to give. Remember it was a friend of his that had the info. This poster had no first hand info all 2nd hand.
