Why are we the visiting team in both games today? It's not just that we're playing at home. We're the higher seed. Weird beyond explanation that the lower seed is the "home team" in the majority of these games. I didn't see Game 1 yesterday, but I presume we were the home team.

UGA seriously does have at least two girls who are huge by softball standards. The softball tournament on ESPN is usually a very cosmetic event, with attractive athletes wearing makeup and earrings. Perhaps I should be impressed that they are able to compete at this level of competition besides not being able to, for example, cover the OF.

By "compete," I'm referring to finding a place in the sport, not looking smashing for the TV cameras.

The home team for Game 3 is determined by a coin toss.

wondered also about the home team thing -- that espn commentator in the studio is a rather large woman for that job also

Thks. Can u keep me updated? I would appreciate it, as I am not home to watch. Sure does stink that the higher seed and home team doesn't get home field advantage...cuz this game may come down to the advantage of who is batting in the bottom of the inning, which is unfortunately not us.

catcher pretty much gave em that run.. got from 2nd to 3rd on her mistake then to home when she couldn't block it.

Strike 3 just got past the catcher. The girl who struck out reached first, and another girl scored. 1-0 UGA on a present.
