Neyland Renovations, what should be next???

I hope we win enough in the next year or two, to revive the project, and I wish they would extend the brick facade all the way up, rather than leaving half of the old metal framework exposed. Looks half-arsed the way it is now, on the north side.

I wonder if that wasn't because of last minute budget shortfalls and such. If we get to and stay toward the top of the SEC E, then maybe 4-5yrs down the road, I'd like to see a third deck added to both ends of the stadium + stadium seating throughout the entire stadium (no more 19th century bleachers)...this way we regain the title of the largest stadium in the country and a more comfortable experience for every single ticket holder.

Day cares for small children, (yes they are precious dressed like players and cheerleaders) so they quit climbing all over everyone once they become bored (end of 1st qtr) and so their parents quit getting mad at me for calling the refs, the opposing coaches, and DeBord a C##* S*****g M****@ *#@&*R!! at the top of my lungs in rapid repetition

Would be a nightmare to try to make that work; but I love the idea.

I like the idea of another jumbotron. I know our bowl is already closed in, but it'd be awesome if we could add more seating somehow. I miss not getting to set attendance records.

Travis, you out of prison? Can't their mommas keep a few of them on gamedays if you want to attend?

1.) Require liposuction to attend games if you are under 6 feet tall and weigh more than 300 pounds.

2.) Another jumbotron.

1. Urinals instead of troughs in all bathrooms.
2. Remove all bench seating and replace with individual chair backs. Don't give a crap about 100k anymore. Alabama doesn't have it, Florida doesn't have it, etc. I'm sure they can still manage to keep at or above 100k anyway.
3. Jumbotron on both ends
4. Put V O L S back up somewhere!!

I'm sorry but there is no way on earth they are going to add a third deck to the existing stadium. The old metal frame work is there because they added a second level above the bottom bowl it can have a facade put over it, but in order to add a third deck they would then have to build support structures beyond the new facades which would involve tearing down the new facades. As far as the stadium seats go I can't imagine they add them all over the stadium. To reference and early poster Bama doesn't even have that.

Player statues. Example, each gate is player named instead of numbered. Reggie white entrance with 12' tall bronze statue of him standing inside the gate.
-New named entrances with statues-
1. Peyton manning
2. Reggie white
3. Eric berry
4. Jason Witten
Etc....

Also, like the summit shrine outside the stadium, have a designated area just outside neyland for coaching greats and statues. Majors, fulmer, etc...

Would be intimidating like the roman colosseum IMO. GO VOLS!!!!

Careful what you wish for. I remember a couple decades back they added a slew of new seats just by re-painting the seat numbers closer together.

Fine with me. I stand all game and don't care about comfort. I'm there to continue the tradition of Neyland being the loudest, most feared stadium in the known world.

That's where all the new, spacious concessions are. It's 10x better there than most everywhere else. I'm in ZZ11 & it's not near as nice. I rarely buy anything though...too $$$$

It's really not that expensive.

What they need to invest in is additional parking. If you don't get to the stadium 8 hours before game time be prepared to walk from World's Fair Park.
