I too wanted Austin in Knoxville and still do BUT the one person who I rely on the most for basketball knowledge has repeatedly told me not to get overly impressed with Austin...he said from DAY ONE he just didnt think Austin would be more than a role player for UT...and that ultimately he would not go to UT...and you'll just have to trust me on this when I say he is BY FAR the most educated basketball man i know....as usually...he was right on...

Something smells fishy here. Afterall, Memphis hasn't been the cleanest program in the nation. *troll face*

Just playin. I thought for sure he was UT bound. Just goes to show that recruiting can be very unpredictable.

How would he be no more than a role player for UT and ultimately he would not go to UT......yep sounds like a ton of knowledge.

stop acting like ******* when a kid picks another school. He's going to the place that he feels is best for him, whatever the reasons may be.
I went to Briarcrest. Didn't get UT or Memphis St offer, but it would have been hard to leave town and not be able to see my mom and dad in the stands for every home game. I went away to UT to get away from home, but would have stayed to play in front of my parents.

Kids absolutely love playing in a state-of-the-art arena, home of the Grizzlies, to sold out crowds, right next to World Famous Beale Street and all the 160 bars and restaurants in Downtown, Memphis.

Awesome post now he goes to a must have player and immediate starter to just a role player.. Sour grapes..

Knoxville is SO safe. No bad areas at all. No crime at all. Great racial harmony. Plenty of fun things to do. Awesome night life. :lolabove:
