This has been in preparation at least since December. It likely was already in motion prior to that.

Is this essentially what’s going on???

It seems like the ncaa is saying there were recruiting infractions by more than just the football program. However at the time of the “violations” there were no rules against the “violations”. Any rules that were in place were followed.

Make 0 sense. Get off our back

It’s goes further then that…The ncaa can argue the rules on the definition of a booster and providing impermissible benefits were already in place…however the rule violates antitrust laws because the university has no control over what spyre does which the ncaa will argue is a “booster” but how can you define a private business as a booster? Lol that’s why there is a lawsuit over this

why couldn't you call a private business a "booster" when the private business is made up of "boosters" and functions as what it is, a booster group.

If the university has no control over Spyre, then who does?

Dear NCAA: Please let the rich old boosters who clearly have too little going on in their lives, and who clearly pay way too much attention to the outcomes of college football games, have their fun.

You know it's the case. This is so obvious. Who else would be in a position to dictate to the NCAA especially after they held us up as an example of cooperation and compliance? This is akin to the jews and muslims. There will never be peace. UT and bama are eternal enemies. And if they aren't behind it, I don't care. Let the war rage anyway.

Can a university control a private business regardless of them deeming them a “booster” because apparently that’s what the ncaa wants us to do lol I’ll make sure to tell Starbucks to stop serving overpriced coffee and comply with my order or else we will see if that argument holds up in court
