Nightmare Scenario

A&M wins the SEC
Miami doesn’t fall below us after their loss
Texas stays ahead of us despite their loss
Oh State wins the Big 10

1. Oh St
2. Texas A&M
3. SMU
4. Boise
5. Az State
6. Penn State
7. Indiana
8. Miami
9. Georgia
10. Texas
11. Notre Dame
12. Oregon

I’m not saying that will be the order (haven’t taken the time to think about the exact order), only saying there’s a chance we could be left out if those things happen
So that’s why we are at 97% probability after winning today? Miami has to drop below us. Not sure it matters if SMU wins and gets the bye.

Ohio State should drop below us if they use SOS.

It matters if SMU wins because Miami doesn’t have to drop below us. Nor does Ohio State. Why do you think those are locks?

Someone didn’t read. I stated I was listing 12 teams and that I wasn’t listing them in a specific order.

ASI is in if they win their title. There’s no guarantee Tx drops out. Same with Georgia.
Someone didn’t think before posting(you op) 🤡

Wild if this thread was started 37 minutes ago and the Ohio St Michigan game has been done for several hours. We all knew once they lost if either Penn State or Indiana won their games they would play for the B1G championship and both those teams played bums.

No way under that scenario happens. Miami is out, no ACC Championship game for them. Ohio St doesn’t win the Big 10. Plus IF….big IF A&M beats Texas, the SEC championship game loser will or could have 3-4 losses. No way we below that.

If anything our stock has gone UP tonight and can only continue to rise depending on Championship games.

Why are we assuming Miami is out? Miami could still be ahead of us. A 2 loss Texas could be ahead of us.

There’s no guarantee we will be ahead of either

Because Miami does not have a win against a ranked team. Miami and Ohio State have the same record as Tennessee, and TN has the highest ranked SOS among the three.

TN’s loss was less recent than Miami and Ohio State’s and it came against teams ranked way below Georgia.

I can’t think of any reason that either team should remain ahead of Tennessee.

Brand goes a long way in rankings.

First you said Ohio State wins the Big 10, impossible. And how in gods name would Miami stay ahead of us after two unranked losses? NOT HAPPENING.

Miami could stay ahead of us and the point is just anyone other than Oregon winning.

What’s brand got to do with any of it?

Are we not one of the top spenders in NIL? Are we not a part of the richest conference, chosen by ESPN and Disney over thr Big 10 and ACC? Are we not one of the largest fan bases?

Miami could still get in as an at large team, but no way they will be ahead of us. No quality wins on their resume. At this point, Florida is the best win they have and we beat them head to head.
