They're not ineligible, as long as both parents are Americans. The rules change when a parent isn't an American, as in Obama's case. My brother was born in a foreign country. He's eligible.

Obama MUST have been born here in order for him to be 'natural born'.

he was born "here". Hawaii was a state when he was born there in the early 60's

he is, therefore, Constitutionally eligible to be POTUS.

I am not a birther and do not want to argue about Obama's right to be President or not. I am merely quoting the Constitution that was set forth to guide this nation. Really the point on Obama's citizenship is moot IMO. He already has 3 years in and will be the incumbent. Without further adeu for those not completely knowledgeable on the US Constitution here is what it sets forth...

Article II Section I Para. 5
"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

I highlighted my point. You didnt take issue with with him not being Natural born...I then gave you the Article, section, and paragraph in the US Constitution where one has to be natural born to be President.

Apparently you need to go back and follow the thread from an earlier point. I am referring to the idea that Obama (or anyone else) would be "punished for the decisions of their parents" - not the issue of what the qualifications actually are.

Article II Section 1: “Each State shall appoint, in such a manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors . . . “

It is up to Georgia, and every other State. Period.

No federal judge may Constitutionally order a State to do otherwise.

Failing to participate or submit the documents must be construed legally as an admission that Obama is not constitutionally qualified to be President of the Unisted States of America. It will result in what is basically a default judgment and appealing such a decision is pretty much hopeless.

The showdown will be tommorrow morning.

The Article II Super PAC says it will provide uncensored, gavel-to-gavel video coverage of the event beginning at 9 a.m. Eastern at this online address.

Based in Simi Valley, Calif., the PAC says it decided to act out of a sense of frustration, since most national news outlets have been ignoring the constitutional mandate that presidents be a “natural-born citizen,” which the PAC maintains is a person who is a child of two U.S. citizen parents.

“The PAC saw the need to do this last month, because of the often incomplete and biased coverage of this issue by mainstream news media and recently received permission from the court,” said director Helen Tansey, who will personally manage on-site efforts.
