depends on who he hires. if he brings in a name not mentioned that is big i say no but if he hires another dooley then yes fire him on the spot.

Hart is making this university look like a circus instead of one if the best institutions in the country. Unless this has all been a smoke screen of interviewing candidates for due diligence and we have someone waiting in the wings- Hart is making us a laughing stock of college football. How did this guy even become our AD with what we already have gone through and learned from Hammy?! You guys think ESPN hates us now, wait till this coaching search debacle ends- they will simply feel sorry for us in how our program has dropped to the bottom this fast. EVERYONE knew once Dooley was fired that this would be the most important hire in our programs history to turn things around -- and we have Big East coaches among others turning us down?! At this point we will be lucky to hire DOOLEY BACK! Come on Hart- prove me wrong.... PLEASE!

Thanks for moving my thread, mods. I see no mention of Dave Hart anywhere, but sure, it's all his fault. Fulmer, Kiffin, Dooley, Pearl....blame it all on the guy that's only been here a shade over a year...

I think the problem runs deeper than the AD if you don't get what I'm saying.

Sounds like an excellent idea. Lets fire the AD so we can go through the process of a search and hire for a new AD. Then his first job will be to hire a new coach even though he's not familiar with anything about UT.

Easy to see why the Government has got so big. Hard to imagine most on here having to actually think, reason and take action for themselves. The dumbing down of America has hit East Tennessee hard.

Lesson: Don't hire anybody who got fired. This philosophy is why I don't want Tressel, Petrino, Davis now. Being fired means you suck, or you did something very stupid.

I have been satisfied that this process has been handled with care and patients. But at the same time I can't help but feel that Hart may have not done all he can. I honestly think this guy has something very unorthodox under his sleeve he has too. I say give him another 2 days. But if he has hired Fedora and has taken 3 weeks to do so that would not be a good look.

Just had a great idea, while we are waiting on Gruden, we could use substitute coaches. Whoever has a bye week can just fill in till he shows up. Maybe we could get a better winning record than Dooley. BRILLIANT!

If Strong is not on the plane then Hart needs to be dropped off in Alabama. Fedora = Dooley 2.0

Nothing matters except the final hire. If he gets it right, nobody will remember the weeks leading up to the hire.
