or read to much about this so called process. Most major hires are done by the employer not the potential employee. You reach out to your wish list and hopefully arrange a face to face. You do more selling than the employee. Hart has known for at least 5 months that he may come upon the day he needed to replace Dooley. Looks like he dropped that ball and he is now scrambling to hire the best available. If major companies sat around and waited for the best hire to come knocking on their door without any out reach and selling on their part then they would never be able to hire the best and brightest.You obviously don't understand the "process". 1. A coach shows interest in a job. 2. if there's mutual interest he's then interviewed, 3. If the job IS offered there is "usually" a counter offer by the school which currently employs that coach. Sorry...but this takes time to sort out. Very rarely does an interview and job acceptance happen in one meeting. It's a process. It's simply not as easy and clear cut as some people like to think.
