Yes. When there isn't a great disparity in talent level, and you have several games H2H, it can begin giving indications. And even if it can't prove definitively, it makes the probability far more likely than "humorous".

I've posted the UC media articles that support the argument, but UC's roster wasn't in great shape when CBJ took over.

In any event, head to head, in the same conference, over three years. It is no conclusive proof, but far from making the comparison "humorous", no?

I think CBJ did a good job at Cincy.

Just don't think 1-2 or 2-1 is enough to say one is better than the other.

No, it's really not. If it is, then the pattern suggests that Strong would have beaten CBJ next year.

It's not enough to go by and that's just what it is.

Come on man. Three games = Three years. Pattern is valid. And yes, I think Strong would have beaten him. Or as in college football anything can happen. But you can't discount three years of history.

Head to head is not always a true measure of who is better. There are so many variables to take into account and no, three years isn't enough for a true pattern to show.

let's talk about Butch v Strong from the past a little more to predict our future. UL v Cincy should really tell us where we are.

No you didn't. We look to be on the same team on this one. You may need to reevaluate.

It appears some are intimating that Strong would've done a better job here and is the better coach, and they are basing it off of a couple of games.
