ESPN just reported it was an MOU signed today, not a contract.

People hired to be Athletic Directors come with a list of names in their "hip pocket". Clearly noone ever asked Currie to see his list of names. Then again, maybe with the influence of the Haslams, it was the list of names that got him hired.

I’m off the Gruden train. After today’s events, I’d rather see Kippy Brown. Gruden encouraged the hype with his interviews recently, whatever. Did he buy a house? Did he join Cherokee? True Vols fans proudly stood for what’s right today. That’s enough. I’m sure I’ll get some flamed up comments since I bought into Gruden and posted all kinds of crazy stuff to support that. So those comments are deserved. Let’s just hope our proud university emerges better off, hopefully somehow some day restoring our once proud football program. Oh, and Currie needs to be rode out on a rail, immediately if not sooner.

Currie has made us an even bigger laughing stock than Jones did. Damn, didn't think it could get any worse. Smells of Haslams taint and Browns failure around here.

The whole Schiano signed two weeks ago is as untrue as some of the Grumors.

He was the panic/back up plan because Currie is an idiot. The big booster that didn't approve that Hyams cited is almost assuredly Haslam. Haslam is one of Jimmy's prime sources.

I remember thinking the embarrassment I felt for UT couldn't get any worse following the butt chugging and gender neutral pronoun incidents...and then the UTAD showed up and said, "hold our beers!"
