You can choose to believe whatever poster, news outlet, etc... that you would like.

I will do the same.

I'm assuming someone else probably already posted this, but just in case, Chris Lowe was on ESPN a few minutes ago and stated that the Schiano deal is officially dead.

Btw I wasn't calling out Knuck, Exile or anyone else. Just saying your sources are apparently not as reliable as you may have thought. Either that or Currie did go rogue, but I have a hard time believing that since I would assume there are multiple signatures on a contract including Bevs.

It is very common for signatures to be affixed to a document on different days. By way of example, see the attached signature page from Butch's contract.

I'm not much into conspiracy theories but I think you're right.

One side is Ergen and a group of boosters that want the program to be back in the national spotlight.

On the other you have Haslems who ramrodded Currie into the AD spot to be his puppet.

I would guess that there have been 2 sets if negotiations going on. Currie carrying his out with direction from the Haslams and the other side with Gruden, which is where most of of our info has been coming from.

There is no way Currie went rogue. He had to get approval of some sort before proceeding.

Its just inconceivable that the Haslams or Currie thought this would fly.

They have had their strangle hold on the university and the football program for so long that it has basically destroyed it.

Tonight, it was torn from their hands. Currie will be gone. No way he survived this. The Ergen side will get their AD candidate in place (Blackburn), and they will proceed to get the coach they want.

I'm glad my life is simple and I don't have to be a part of crap like this. Lol

I'll stick with my barns and building my business up.

But I do think this was a power struggle and it came to a head tonight.

The arrogance of the Haslams was their undoing.

I'm hoping that this will be a series on HBO in a couple of years.

Hell, I'll take Netflix.

Man I hope Gruden is still on the table. At this point, if he's not, his son will either have very thick skin or need to transfer. Gruden straight trolled the entire state of Tennessee if he isn't in play.

Good grief. You can only be trolled if you allow yourself to be trolled. People have been "connecting" dots in their minds to fit their agenda.

I repeat there are NO insiders on VN not even Fingers (just posts public accessible notes and YouTube videos on practice).

Thank your for the PSA, but I'm no snowflake and don't need any help navigating a message board. Kindly GTFO!

To top off a lousy season we now have this AD cluster.........Currie in way over his head, this is not Kansas State.

But you can’t account for a rogue AD. Hart did it and now Currie. Seems like the AD isnt the problem. It’s who they report to that needs to go. And keep their gasoline smelling, cinnamon roll selling hands away from TN athletics.

Hart and Currie are puppets...Haslem pulls the strings

And he was in the Bahamas having a great old time a few days ago, with this as his plan to come home to. What the absolute f....

Jon Gruden did not troll Tennessee fans.

It was the fans on this board that acted like teenage girls on Facebook and Twitter, who ran with all of the Lies that the people with "inside sources" posted on this board.

It was pathetic.

Well we knew misinformation would come out. I have heard Haslam did something and I have heard it was Currie, agents as well. Won't know much until the dust settles. But Gruden is very much still in play.

If I had to guess it was Currie and Haslams. Ergen isn't playing.
Alot of the people calling in on basilios show is calling for Currie and haslams head.

Where do you start? Honest to God where do you start? I guess question #1 is do you keep Currie? Damn I wouldnt think so but today has proven no one here knows ****. Secondly if you do fire him how long does it take to find an AD to hire the next coach.

Ive learned in life that things arent always as bad as they seem and if we just make the right hire all will seem right in the world in short order but how do you trust Currie to make that hire now?

Brady Hoke now seems like a very legit candidate to be our next football coach.

Brew on that for a minute Grudenites.
