We need to revolt against John Currie and the damn House of Haslam.

Haslam wanted Schiano at the Brown's almost 3 years ago. We must rid ourselves of the Haslam's influence over the AD. The Haslam leadership sucks! Here is a quote from one article:

It's sad that the fans know how to do the AD's job better than him. Has anyone started a petition to fire John Currie yet? So much for his $1.5m bonus. I wish I got paid 900k/yr to NOT do my job. Tennessee is the money tree for failures.

As I first posted I’ve lurked for years, even through the last Gruden debacle. I just joined a few days ago to get in before this hire. I wasn’t very popular because I don’t think the university can get Gruden here. However, I am damn proud of our fan base with what we put a halt to this evening. I fully believe Currie honestly thought this was okay, there was no smokescreen. I will say our base and VN have more influence than I imagined. I thought Currie would go through with this. Great job guys.

If Currie was hiring Greg the Douche then we all know Gruden is not and was not in play.

I think we fire Currie as soon as the paperwork with Schiano is done. Hire Fulmer to take over for football operations until we get a new AD. Or someone in house is promoted to AD. This hire might not be made for several weeks now.
