Wasn't there a very large booster who basically ran one of the Oklahoma programs....but then ran off for having too much control?

Sounds like we need to do this to the Haslams. There is enough money floating around this program to sustain us without them.

He also said Gruden was a done deal several weeks ago and no one else was in play, but ya know that clearly looks like he has no idea what's going on. Furthermore, I could have given you that cryptic, Hollywood script story he gave us about Ergen back in October. However, I didn't because I don't have the time too, nor do I want to see my fellow Vols get filled with hope when there is none. We'll get through this mess, but it will not be done with the likes of "Beaver".

I know I'm still 3 pages behind due to lag, but I just have to LMAO at the idea that John Currie making overtures to Greg Schiano isn't the damage to our program, it's anonymous internet posters.

It's been a long day, I needed the laugh, so thanks for that. :)

I cannot and will not try to defend the University of Tennessee for this **** storm. The ball is in their court. I have been a UT fan my whole life. I am on the verge of walking away based on their next move. I have an unopened bag of UT Tostitos Chips from the 98 championship. If they don't fix this fast. I am going to open them eat them and end this chapter in my life.

The ultimate drug.

I always wondered how we ended up with a Chancellor from Fla and an AD from Bama... At the exact same time.

I realize that they are no longer with us, and I don't know all of the workings of the UT administration, but I do know that when Joe Johnson and Doug Dickey were here football was king and the bread and butter of the University.
I also know that a couple of weeks ago on one specific Saturday our football program was a total wreck and obvious for everyone to see. The UT president was on fb showing off professional photos taken of his flower garden.

I have been party to several MOU, even written several. Every one I was a party to stated that it was subject to execution of a mutually agreeable contract. If Currie didn't do this, he's incompetent, and so are the UT attorneys. Well, I guess Currie is incompetent anyway.

Will you now? Lol, good luck with that. I'm not saying we are hiring Gruden...i have no clue what is going on there. I can tell you I know a Psychological campaign when I see one. We were targeting Mullen. We were targeting Schiano. Notice only people ever mentioned have been Sexton clients? Why? He is trying to force something. Hell you even have people turning against Gruden at this point. The info has to be coming from his side is all I am saying. There is an agenda behind it as well. Could it be UT has said they will not deal with him anymore? Who knows. But just let this play out. And know who your puppet master is right now. Easiest way to beat this stuff. If the other side of things is smart they will begin leaking information like a sieve over the next couple of days and make Sexton and his look like a fool, while they look like damn heros

Someone from UT should have been at the podium hours ago cleaning this **** storm up. Vols Football is dead for years. Botch is somewhere drinking scotch, smoking a cheap cigar, laughing as he rolls naked in the millions we paid him to leave.

Atlanta Vol needs to come in here and say something. We deserve to know what the hell happened with everyone's information. People need to stop coming in here and trolling fans. It's ridiculous! Some of us are passionate about this team! And I would love to hear some real thoughts on who we can hire as our next coach. Les Miles? Tee Martin? Maybe Kiffin, but IMO I don't want him either after the way he's trolled us. We may be down but we are not out! This isn't the death penalty! We can recover from this with the right changes! I believe, that as a fan base, we took the step in the right direction for our program today.
