Come on Volnation. We are all hurting here. Don't take it out on other Vol faithful. All your anger and frustration should be aimed at John Currie. He claims to not have known about the connection to Sandusky yet USB friends with schiano. I say no way he didn't know. #FireJohnCurrie

I have 4 weeks worth that I happily purchased on this forum and drank until I was sick at my stomach. I vomited it all up in my texts to Currie today (thanks for the # Clay).

Lots of folks living in mama’s basement getting off in here spreading bs. You know who they are—no different than Currie.

Shame on me. Never again will I be fooled in here.

To each of you that has brought information from your many sources, i simply say thank you! I don't want to name names because i know i will leave someone out. But your information was invaluable to me and many others on this site. Just like in 2012 the cause of this cluster will be found and hopefully will make our great university better for it. Each of you should hold your head high and know that the information each of your brought to this site made our day and I certainly hope each of you continue to share your insight.

Here's another thought while I'm still 3 pages behind. If fans wanted Gruden to come to Tennessee before learning of Haslam's back stab with Schiano, why would the back stab make people go out on getting Gruden? Shouldn't we demand Gruden even louder? It's not like Haslam's move magically made Gruden a bad coach in a matter of hours.

So what happened at Dunwoody? Was it all for show? Was it even real? I’ve been thinking about that all afternoon. This whole thing just makes no sense.

Thank you to all of Volnation for standing up for our great university. That makes me very proud to be a Vol today.

And thank you to all the folks who have brought information. I believe that each of you were just bringing what you thought to be true.

And for all of you getting mad at the people on this thread, like others have said, direct your anger where it is deserved: our AD and anyone who sponsored this "attempted" hire.

I believe we will rise from this. Somehow. Some way. My faith is somewhat shattered on this hire but the fact is no one has been given the job yet, officially. So some hope is left.

Hold on folks. Love your Vols. Love your family. Love your friends.

I can guess who drafted the MOU, or at least laid eyes on it, and based on my limited professional interactions with that person, that person wouldn't leave a door like that open unless that person was told to do it.

I think it's more less that if Schiano was the best Currie thought he could get, Gruden is extremely far away from that. I just don't see how we possibly make up that ground in demands.

Quit beating this dead horse. I’m not mad at anyone for coming forward with info, but it’s time that people come to terms with their “sources” being a load of BS. It may have not even been intentional but it is what it is. We just tried to hire shiano but we’re saved by us threatening to turn Tennessee into scorched earth. Gruden is obviously not an option. Let’s move on and find the next coach that can possibly pack this circus up.
