I am all gruden but if it came down between Mullen and Campbell Id take a shot at Campbell. At least he has beaten highly ranked teams lol
Smelling something and it smells rotten like a 5 yr they do this all over again all time losing record against top AP 20 Jimmy Sexton special ..Lord I hope this is not true.. Defensive Back for Miss State
"And speaking of Twitter, a bunch of our current players decided to follow VFL Tee Martin on Twitter recently. Being that Martin was spoken of behind the scenes in our Grumors, this very well could be significant. I doubt the team has been told as loose lips sink ships and all, but I have this feeling even the team members can see the way the winds are blowing."
Look for the small hints.
JG is coming.
The thought of Mullen, Norvell, or Campbell in Orange makes me want to string myself up with piano wire.If it came down to Mullen, Campbell or Bing McGoogle, my plan would be to offer Mike Norvell a reasonable salary of about $3-3.5 mil and make him earn his raises.
We aren't getting Mullen for less than $5 mil a year or probably more. IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY TO GET HIM OUT OF STARKVILLE!
Campbell has serious buyout money problems. Is not proven as a HC in big boy football, but could be a contender in time. But he is NOT at the level of "home run" at this point.
Norvell shows serious promise and will go to a P5 school this round. There isn't a significant buyout that I'm aware of from Memphis and he's developing talent at a high level. And appears to be a good recruiter since he swayed Ferguson from Texas, a known traditional power, to Tiger High. Norvell is the "safe" hire that doesn't come with a huge price tag involved.
Regardless, I'm still on the Gruden train and can only hope Currie can back up that grin.
An inside look at Jon Grudens game plan National Football Post
Looks just fine to me. I'll take that kinda offense anyday
