Of course I do? You kidding? :)

Penn State was rotten from the inside out and was perceived as such.

Tennessee is rotten from the inside out but is being perceived as the opposite.

Fanbase is getting the blame for being a cancer to the program.

What coach would want to come here under that narrative?

Wheres the UT blood leadership at during this shiz show?

Why hasnt anybody came out today and try to do some damage control? Where is the, "dont worry Vol fans, we are on this?" Peyton? Fulmer?

There has been another bad coaching hire, a complete mutiny by the fanbase, and then chaos and rumors running wild ever since. Where is a voice of reason and assurance from our beloved university? At least an attempt. Im sure the AD and board are full speed ahead behind closed doors figuring out a direction but what power 5 program dont have somebody the fans look too saying something in the middle of all this?

We have no leadership, no football program, we only have a driven and passionate fanbase and a storied history.

Clean this place up and start all over

Quit beating this dead horse. I’m not mad at anyone for coming forward with info, but it’s time that people come to terms with their “sources” being a load of BS. It may have not even been intentional but it is what it is. We just tried to hire shiano but we’re saved by us threatening to turn Tennessee into scorched earth. Gruden is obviously not an option. Let’s move on and find the next coach that can possibly pack this circus up.

You completely ignored my point. Why wouldn't we still want Gruden?

Can someone link ATL Vols account? I would like to read his past statements

EDIT:Apparently I cant because searching has been disabled

Last I checked, the search function was off because of the high traffic. I wish I could help...sorry...

Here's another thought while I'm still 3 pages behind. If fans wanted Gruden to come to Tennessee before learning of Haslam's back stab with Schiano, why would the back stab make people go out on getting Gruden? Shouldn't we demand Gruden even louder? It's not like Haslam's move magically made Gruden a bad coach in a matter of hours.

Food for thought.

He will never come here now. You must not be seeing how the rest of the nation is viewing this. Not good.

Wasn't there a very large booster who basically ran one of the Oklahoma programs....but then ran off for having too much control?

Sounds like we need to do this to the Haslams. There is enough money floating around this program to sustain us without them.

One of the OU boosters that got caught doling out "benefits" was "Booster Bob", President of a Dallas Oil & Gas co. I was VP marketing. He used the company to hire and pay the OU players while they sat in an office with their girlfriends in their laps and talked on the phone all day (Bosworth, Keith Jackson, others). They were well paid and enjoyed the use of company cars (I didn't have one!). He continued to serve on the Board of Directors after he "retired". Likeable guy. Most dysfunctional company I ever worked for.

I’d say Atlanta is on a conference call with the other diamond boosters trying to figure out what to do next.

Get shed of Currie and Beverly. Who to interim as the AD and chancellor

For AD, Blackburn is free, if not him then Fulmer.

Based on?

Terminal case of idealism coupled with optimism. Plus, why wouldn't he? He's been interested twice only to be screwed over by incompetent ADs. If Currie is gone, it's the perfect storm.....Blackburn, Fulmer, Gruden. When in his life will he ever even remotely have the same chance to come play the role of heroic savior? And if not, he becomes an outcast in the city his wife loves and at the school his son attends.

Tasty...a bit confused, would love more in-depth perspective on this...on the surface, it's appears fan base is trying to block a future train wreck w Schiavno (spelling).

I LOVE the way we reacted. Schiano is scum, imo, but the narrative being played out by the media is that THE FANS are the problem.

I know we aren't but everyone on the outside looking in says the opposite.

yea with the way this whole thing has been botched from the get-go, letting currie continue to be the AD is inexcusable and quite frankly bizarre.

i fully expect him to remain AD.

Bring Tee home. Nothing but A VFL can heal this fan base. Fans will rally behind him as well as coaches and former players.
