Official Thread of the St. Louis Cardinals

"The Reds are really hot right now and we're not even close to hot. And we're still right there. So once we click there's not going to be a chance for nobody." - FeLo

I've pretty much watched more ESPN/MLB Network today than I have in the past 3 months combined and pretty much they all say the same thing - the Cards will be fine and they all expect the Reds to falter.

Wow, the Cardinals have put up two decent performances against left-handed starters in the last two weeks. That's two more than the rest of the season.....

I'm not optimistic Penny is going to throw another inning this season.

Barry Weinberg is quickly becoming my most hated person on the Cardinals staff.

I can't decide if I want them to try to make a move or not.

Not tryin to be a dbag, but I think it's 6 in a row. Also, I wouldn't be opposed to y'all making it 8 in a row.

It really was a question. I was out of town or working most of the past week lol. I wouldn't either. It would shut some Phillies bandwagoners up

Why not 9?

It's a 4 game set. :)

Then the Cubs are after that so it definitely needs to hit 12 at minimum. :dance2:

They've been hot since the debacle in Colorado. Need to keep it up. it's looking more and more likely the Wild Card might come from the Central.

I know way too many Cardinal fans for them to sweep the Phillies. I don't wanna hear that garbage. 3/4 works for me. (I didn't know it was a 4-gamer, take em all.)

Just our luck. We're hot right now and we're playing a good team in the Phils and the Reds are hosting the happless Nats.

Right now we just need to keep winning. Let everything else take care of itself.

We may be looking at a good problem in the near future with Ludwick returns of who do you send down? Jay and Craig have both been playing well.

Well, Lohse had a good rehab start last night.

Since it doesn't look like Oswalt is going to happen, he's going to be a major factor for the remainder of the season...I hope he can find a little bit of his 08 form again.

For the Reds sake, I hope he comes back and looks like he did from 2001-2007 and 2009+.

Well, trade Ludwick and then score 20 runs the next 2 games. Granted, it was the Pirates so I'm not sure what discount factor you use to calculate the actual number of runs against a MLB team.
