I don't agree with tidwell having his own personal post padding thread.

It's not like I'm clicking 'Add Reply' 10 to 15 times on each post like someone I know.

Pujols hit a two run homer in the 3rd and Belliard added an RBI single to drive in Edmonds who doubled.

4-0 Cards going to the 4th.

Cardinals finally stop the bleeding with a 4-3 win.

Reyes was alright other than that one inning where the Brewers scored all of their runs. He ended up going 5 to get the win.

Pujols 2-4 with HR #34.

Bullpen actually held it together for 4 innings as well.

59-50

It's a winning streak!

Cards win 7-1 over the Brewers.

Encarnacion and Rolen hit homers to score some runs.

Suppan pitched well again. 7.1 innings, 1 run allowed, 7 Ks. Nice.

60-50

Big 4 game series starting in Cincinnati tonight.

Jeff Weaver (1-2, 8.68) vs. Elizardo Ramirez (4-7, 4.47)

Chalk up game one for the Reds.

i'll have to agree. Adam Dunn may just have a career night off of ole Jeff "Point Break" Weaver

Or not.

Cards pound out 17 hits and score 13 runs to win 13-1.

5 run first inning pretty much sealed it.

Weaver pitched his best game as a Cardinals. Actually made it through 6 innings giving up only 1 run and striking out 7.

Duncan, Pujols, Rolen, Spiezio, and Molina all had two or more hits and RBIs.

61-50

Jason Marquis (12-9, 5.68) vs. Eric Milton (7-7, 5.20) tonight in Cincinnati.

Should be another slugfest.

Yet another terrible start for Marquis.

Only gave up 4 runs in his 2.2 innings, but clearly fooled no one as the Reds connected for 9 hits off him.

Sosa came in and only allowed 1 run in 3.1 innings.

7-2 Reds top of the 8th.

The lethal combination of Braden Looper and Josh Hancock plus an error has yielded 2 runs so far for the Reds in the 8th. Bases still loaded, no outs.

9-3

Wainwright came in and immediately got a double play, but another run scored.

10-3 Reds going to the 9th.
