Is Wainwright in the pen or starting? Is Josh Kinney on the roster? I remember that Narveson guy that pitched for the Smokies was good, is he in the majors yet tid? And tell me Skip Shumaker made the roster. He was a fan favorite.

Wainwright will be starting tomorrow night and for the duration of the season. Kinney unfortunately tore a ligament in his elbow and will be out for the season. Narveson isn't on the 40 man roster so I'm assuming he's in the minors for the time being. Schumaker is on the roster right now, dunno if he will be once Encarnacion returns from the DL.

Well maybe they will want to keep Skip's lefthanded bat. But yeah, Encarnacion would get the spot over Schumaker.

7 strong innings from Wainwright, nice first start. Only gave up one run. Also added an RBI double.

Big game for Duncan. 3-4, HR, 2 doubles, 3 RBI.

Cardinals got 1 run back in their half of the 3rd... Reyes doesn't look too good so far. No reason to believe Houston will stop scoring runs.

Cards lose 5-1.

Reyes settled down after those first two rough innings. He left after 5 and Thompson gave up two solo homers in the 6th and 7th.

Oswalt pretty much dominated. Complete game on less than 100 pitches.

Kip Wells (0-1) vs. Jason Jennings (0-0) today in the last game of the series.

The Cardinals finally got a bit of an offensive explosion today in the 8th and 9th innings where they scored 7 of their 10 runs to win 10-1.

Pujols hit his first HR of the year early in the game while Molina and Rolen added 3 and 4 RBI respectively.

Wells pitched very well again... went 7 innings giving up only 1 hit and 1 walk.
