Omari needs to be suspended (he apologizes)

Omari is not some 18 year old benchwarmer. He’s a senior leader, making six figures in all likelihood, and is a representative of the university. He’s needs to sit at least one game

In omaris shoes it doesn’t matter. Right or wrong he had to be the bigger man here and get to the locker room. He chose not to. Now there will be consequences. This is already on national news. Expect not to see him for a few games.
Obviously, you have not been the target of Karens and others who think they may lay hands on you without consequences. Even slapping someone else'sm crying infant on a plane because they wanted the child to shut up. As for Oamri, I, for one, still don't have the facts. If he was being an a-hole, bye. But we don't know yet, as I said, until we hear from Josh. I think that too many of your make just enjoy quickly judging players out of some self-righteous trait. Or other ulterior motivation.

From a video that has a distant view of the situation? We have no idea if this dude touched him. I’ve seen a video of an Arkansas guy yanking one of players jerseys and screaming in his face. Some yall need to chill

I don’t know, but I’m skeptical. I can’t imagine that punk using slurs against a ton of diverse players and him walking out alive - even amongst his own Arkansas fans.

People are stupid. But are they really that stupid? Maybe if they were trying to get this outcome, but even then….

Maybe I have more faith in humanity than I should.
Yes they really are that damn stupid

Pretty much a reflection of the undisciplined nature of the entire team that got us beat last night. Thats on coaching.

He should have left out the “even though” statement.

The quick and sincere apology is a big step. Still, needs to be some form of punishment. 1 game suspension seems appropriate.

I also hope this video makes the highlights when they have team meeting to review this game performance and this incident is used as example.

I’m not even sure what your going on about but it’s irrelevant. The student obviously didn’t “strike” Omari. It’s blatant on video. Could that kid have said or did something he shouldn’t have? Sure? I’m not saying it’s right. But the bottom line is a D1 player on scholarship representing a university just can’t react in that way. He will never win that argument unless the kid truly threatened him with physical harm which obviously didn’t happen. You trying to rationalize it is just silly.
