How many people storm your office? These are professionally paid players now. If I did that on my job, then I would be fired at a minimum, and most likely arrested for assault...especially for any damage caused to that young lady that was knocked off her feet. At a minimum, it seems like a large fine with suspension (although I am sure that cannot be done for some stupid NIL reasoning in this Wild Wild West environment), but these are no longer student athletes. They are paid professionals. They should be treated as such when they do such idiotic things that would get them arrested in many cases.
You can agree that both are wrong without passively attempting to justify/excuse our own by saying, "Well, at least it wasn't as bad as..."Huge difference, if you don’t know the difference then I can’t help you
This may just be a wild thought, but anytime you rush a football field after a game with thousands and thousands of other people, including emotional football players, you should expect contact from someone. Whether you are a male or female, contact is inevitable.Except he assaulted a female and this guy from the clip put himself in a situation where he was asking for physical contact from someone.
There's nothing questionable about hitting someone at the knees and making a tackle. It's not illegal and it was the only play he had to make a sack. Football can be a dangerous sport. But there's nothing questionable about the play. God bless the young man that got injured.ONL also had that questionable low hit on Green that injured him. I really hope that was not intentional. I want the Vols to win, but not like that.
Stop trying to justify this, it is a terrible look on our entire University. We all (myself included) threw a fit when Saban tried to justify Burtons actions 2 years ago and did nothing about it. These guys not only get a free education but are now being paid and in most cases paid well. I do not care what the fan said to him nor if he bumped into him, Omari went out of his way to turn around and shove him into a woman. We got beat, credit Arkansas they outplayed us and whipped us up front. But fans can push players? After an emotional loss? Get out of here with that. Slow the video down and you can see him run into Omari and give him a little push.
That's such a weak hypothetical. The situations still aren't the sameJust curious how you would feel if that had been a daughter of yours?
No sorry it is not, it is just difference in opinions. That's such a weak hypothetical.
I have boys and have taught them that stupid actions have consequences and to be aware of their surroundings. If they weren't really injured then there was a good lesson to be learned. I would double down on teaching a daughter that same thing

If he taught her that and she got they this with no real injuries then it was a good lesson. She should call her dad and tell him he was right. No sorry it is not, it is just difference in opinions.
Well tell me how do you know that girl’s Father did not teach her as well as you have taught your kids? My point is kids are kids, especially in college they do not do exactly as they have been taught.
So, things should be put in place to protect them and even adults…..like not allowing fans on the field.
