Penn State scandal (merged)

Ok then pj why did the person who reported it to Jp not call? Since it is so cut and dry. But hey he is not the one who is responsible because he has higher authorities that he told. He is only the one who saw it.

he's a POS too and maybe a bigger one for witnessing the event and not doing anything. This isn't a zero sum blame game.

I wanna understand your ethical knowledge so I will pose the same question as I did for a guy earlier.

You own a business where somebody has been robbed in the last year are you ethically required to put a warning sign up?

Why not a more relevant question: If you saw a coworker raping a kid, do you call the police or just tell your boss and pretend like it never happened whenever you see him over the next 10 years. Stop trying to justify his actions.

That a boy, volinreallife, just ignore the fact that you just lied in your other post.

Here's a sample of my ethics: if a little boy is getting ass raped on property that I control and I caught him doing it, I'd try to kill him and immediately call the authorities and hope he rots in jail until he dies and then rots in Hell for eternity. How's that for you.

Exactly. so why are you not going after the guy that saw it?

Also lawvol. I guarantee if you meet ethical requirements in your job most of the time you will meet the legal requirements.

And that means Paterno met his ethical obligations, how? Oh wait, it doesn't mean jack **** like the rest of your complete and utter nonsense.

Are robbery and rapping a 10 year old child the same?

That is what the guy did he told JP therefore he is a bad person by all you guys standards.

every time I read "business ethics" in this thread I see

Have you read the grand jury report? There's more than just smoke here, there's a blazing fire. Sandusky is alleged to have admitted to the acts on the phone with one of the victim's mothers and this conversation was wire-tapped and listened to by a law enforcement official. Straight from the horse's mouth, so not too comparable to the Salem trials.

Most people agree that he acted as he should have LEGALLY. But morally, it's gross that he didn't make sure it didn't happen again.

I'm unsure of the criminal negligence laws in Pennsylvania.

I agree with this 100%.

I don't see Paterno facing criminal charges out of this.

How does it not mean anything when the two pretty much work together when you meet ethical standards legal standards are usually met.

Read most and it's very sad. The 98 is in the da. 02 is on ga, ad, other dude and to a lesser extent Paterno.

However the hate spewed towards Paterno is crazy to me
