the real question is pete is a big enough douchebag to wait till after LOI day to sign with the seahawks.

I guess I've been under the wrong impression then, I always thought it was his assistants who started the ball rolling there.

I must admit I don't follow recruiting all that closely, except for what I learn here about our incoming recruits.

There will be a lot of speculation as to whether there will be NCAA infractions, but it seems as though they will be losing their coach, that is bad enough...NCAA infractions would be the nail in the coffin.

USC would not hire Lane Kiffin, They have enough going on right now with the NCAA.

USC can pull an established Coach from most any level. Kiffin to USC after a couple of Champoinships or 10 win seasons maybe, but not right now. Thankfully. GBO IMO..

back when they both were coaching at sc the consensus was that sarq was good and kiffin stunk. after kiffin left and sarq took over hte offense completely a lot of SC alumns changed their mind because the offense got a lot more vanilla. sarq was always considered #2 on the staff and the obvious replacement if pete left. they might shoot higher first though.

feldmen says their #1 choice woudl be riley at osu. he did turn down sc last time around.
