You think a single person bailing out the entire US govt didn't have more influence? How about a newspaper tycoon who invented a war so his buddy could be a hero and then potus? It's harder to buy in now because there are at least some regulations. How would you track any vote buying at all in the 1800s? The entire presidency and govt until Jackson was essentially an aristocracy left over from the revolutionary War
Biden has already pledged actions that are unconstitutional. He sat at the right hand of a guy responsible for bombing multiple countries at the same time. Same guy lived him some eo's too. You must be really young
I said since the Civil War. Well aware of the tumultuous state of things during the founding of the Republic. The Whiskey Rebellion comes to mind.
Anyways, Obama continued a long trend of an ever-expanding set of Executive Orders, but Trump has truly pushed pushed the boundaries of Executive power.
If you ask me kinda feels like we're heading towards end of Roman Republic, Weimar Republic territory.
