Police shooting black man in the back ... again (Kenosha, WI)

Still no body cam footage?
Also why not just tackle/handcuff the guy BEFORE he gets in the car. It's not like he just pops open the passenger door.

If he did say something I think they would have been justified to at least detain him until the situation boils down.

Lol the dude standing there with a weapon and calls them a Pus for moving on . I guess deep down he was glad they left .

Translation. He's BAMF until sh*t gets real. Part of that group Ktown supports and claims they'll defeat anyone in their way. Uh huh. .

I asked myself the same thing. We don’t know the whole context yet but this seems like one case where subduing the guy in place would have averted a lot of heartache.
And on the flipside, if you are a black man in America, why are you not on your Ps & Qs when you are around these trigger happy cops. Doesn't he know these cops are itching to use their weapons?

The problem is that if you do and there is reaction, then later when the investigation is done the "losing side" of the controversy will claim that the investigators were influenced by the reaction.
There is already a video out. That horse is out the barn.

In the video it looks like instead of trying to subdue they all threw drew their firearms. I really want to hear the reasoning why all three thought that level of escalation was the correct approach.

You can hear somebody screaming over and over “don’t you do it! Don’t you do it!”

We simply need more information.

Do they not have tazers in that town? To me that looked like a textbook situation for a tazer shot.

Why did they just let him walk to the car?
This is my thing. If he had said something threatening they needed to do something more than play flag football until he got into the car.

What happened to the good ole slam his face into the car and cuff him maneuver?

If there was video of him saying something threatening they are cleared. If not they get punished but no one gets shot 7 times, and hopefully no protests.

This looks like the cops let it get to a point where they "had" to use their guns.

Yep. Why draw the pistol first instead of the taser?!

Really need body cam video to understand why this escalated so damn quickly.

Doesnt seem like this was handled properly by the cops. Cant say the end result was wrong, yet. But they are guilty for allowing this to happen.

His back is to them, pistol whip his arse (head) if he is that much of a threat.

Civilian gun safety says dont point a gun at something you arent ready to shoot. If it's gone that far anything else up to shooting him should be in play too.

This wasnt a split second decision. He isnt running around the car.

I don;t disagree that there might be a tactical criticism or a violation of policy or training leading up to the moment he walked around the car. But might have been split second if when he moved into the open car door it looked like he was reaching for a weapon.

Yeah split second at the end of at least a 5 second walk around the car with the cop in arms distance holding the guys shirt?
