The landscape is begging for an articulate message rather than another populist cult of personality like we got from Obama and Trump.Hopefully they start to defend people from the outright assault on our rights that is coming from the left. Begin to realize that stealing money from our grandkids isn't a sound fiscal policy. Being the world police is too expensive
From the moment Donald Trump descended an escalator at Trump Tower, and then announced his intention to run for President, he has been playing identity politics. He began with his attacks on Mexican immigrants as "rapists" and he has continued to this day...Identity politics, It is a winning formula and the Democrats own it.
Congratulations to China, in concert with the Democrat Party and the news media, for developing and spreading fear of the coronavirus to take down Trump. I hope all the death and misery was worth it to get rid of Trump. From the moment Donald Trump descended an escalator at Trump Tower, and then announced his intention to run for President, he has been playing identity politics. He began with his attacks on Mexican immigrants as "rapists" and he has continued to this day...
On Donald Trump's first day in office, January 20, 2017 .... the Republican Party controlled both chambers of Congress. On his last day in office, January 20, 2021 and after just one term in office in which he was impeached ... they will hold neither. He is a failed President.

Okay, what does that have to do with my statement? From the moment Donald Trump descended an escalator at Trump Tower, and then announced his intention to run for President, he has been playing identity politics. Sorry but that dog won’t hunt. Trump doesn’t give one runny about the common man or the “middle”. He is interested in one thing in this world and that is Donald Trump and the Trump brand and it was that way well before he ran for office. He catered to the lowest common denominator in conspiracies, hate speech and insults to get into office and continues to do so in his embarrassing effort to overturn the election. He is a joke and January 20th cannot come soon enough to remove this stain. End of discussion. The ignorance of American politics in this thread is astounding. Trump was the man who brought the middle to the GOP. He was the first president to be for gay marriage before he was in office, he did more in my life time for the black community than any other politician, and he left weed legalization up to states when the Keebler Elf wanted to go after them. Trump was the movement to pull the GOP more to the center. With out them they can go die like the democrats. All I see in here is characterizations of trump supporters as the classic dumb hillbilly GOP supporter. Trump supporters aren’t republicans and vice versa. This will be the last we ever see of a populist movement gaining traction in this country. The left and the establishment have put an end to that.
Now that Trumpism is officially for losers, what will the new GOP look like? Back to globalism and free trade? Will they liberalize on guns and social issues to capture more of a changing demographic? Or will they cling to Trumpism and go down with the ship?
It's hard to overstate the impact that both Georgia and Arizona turning blue will have on future Presidential elections. Those are 27 Electoral College Votes, that will be hard for Republicans to find elsewhere. We now have 4 Democratic Party Senators from those two states. Unbelievable.
I thought the Ruskies were why Trump got elected? Can you read? You said the Democratic Party owned identity politics. My point was obvious; playing identity politics is how Donald Trump got elected. He is the master of it ... not Democrats.
Maybe they will run McSally? She couldn't win a statewide race in AZ to save her butt. LOL.
I understand your moniker now with you living in Arizona... the father of the Arizona quints real name was "Nathan Huffhines". Just thinking out loud. It makes me feel smart to pick up on something like that. LOL.McSally sucks and she barely lost to the most palatable D (and a more recognizable name) in congress and then to a legendary name in Kelly in an election that had huge D turnout to vote against Trump. We're not going to have that turnout again.
