Gonzo would be prolly Monday or so.

Walton is the DC at Memphis. Hughes is DBs at USM. McGriff is DBs at Miami. Arky's DB coach could get a look as well.

It is being reported that CLK interviewed Brian Schneider on thursday, but that he is in line for a couple of NFL jobs.

I am not sure about this guy. He has ties to Kiffin but it seems like he is a pretty sought after coach in the NFL right now. I don't think he comes here.

Either way you have to think something starts shaking out this weekend with this staff. Coach K's wife is due this week and we have a big weekend coming up the 16th. I look for some news to start coming out later tonight and tomorrow. It seems he waited till the NC game was over for a reason. We will see........

I agree, We need to be getting our position coaches finalized. It will start hurting us in recruiting soon.

I really see Gran taking the RB and special teams which kicks Drayton out. I think that rules Gonzo out. With that said I like kennedy @ Texas. It helps cover TX and OK

When do you think this plays out? Seems like it is going to have to happen soon.

Also it really seems quite. I don't think Kiffin wanted the Garner news to play out in the media like it did. It probably hurt our chances with him. My feeling is he is the one who probably leaked it. But you have to think Gonzo has already been contacted by Kiffin if that is the hold up. Would Interview today or tomorrow. If he is interested at all. Which he doesn't seem to be by all acounts. Even Hubbs. But there isn't anything new at all really on rivals since Garner. strange?

There has been interviews conducted. We interviewed Schneider last week and noone knew of it, or at least noone gave up the info.

I think it could very well shake out late this coming week.

Does draytons recruiting of marlon brown have anything to do with him being retained?

I think Drayton is staying either way. It seems like it depends on Gonzo. But I really don't feel like that is the case. I think Kiffin likes the guy and he feels he can be successfull recruiting FL. Reaves has also pulled some players out of FL over the years.

We've got a bunch of guys that can recruit Florida or has ties there. Drayton is being held for two reasons.

I agree is his being kept for one of those reasons. I actually think Gran would have been a better coach and recruiter.

Also Hubbs said Schneider had coached LB's and TE's and those were two openings we had available. Do you know what Cregg will coach if it isn't TE's?
