Also, note to the FA…schedule these kickoffs a couple hours later in the day. Two days in a row the sun has fully been shining and the contrast between sunlight and shade at the one end made the game almost unwatchable on TV. The part of the first half yesterday where the dividing line went directly down the middle of Steffen’s goal may also have contributed to his disastrous error.
It's on May 14, which is a Saturday. You're right that the kickoff is still TBD, but in the past it looks like it's usually late afternoon around 5:00 local time, which is a little later than the semis, but a month from now that will probably equate to the same conditions we saw this weekend if it's sunny since the days will be a little longer.Yeah it was frustrating to watch both of those games with that blinding sun on one side. I wouldn’t say it directly was the reason for all of the goals this weekend but if you think back, every goal at Wembley this weekend was scored on the same side of the pitch, which was the side with the sun. Believe the final will be on a Friday at Wembley. I hope it’s at night and not an afternoon game but they haven’t released the time yet.

My understanding is there are other yet to be announced teams from Europe that Chelsea will play.Don’t know what I’m going to do. Chelsea is also probably playing in Charlotte and Vegas. Would rather see Arsenal vs Chelsea in Orlando because it’s the better matchup, but Charlotte would be much closer to me. The only thing is the Charlotte game would most likely be against Charlotte FC.. which is fine, but I’d much rather go watch them play Arsenal. Decisions, decisions.
Fulham coming back up after securing promotion today. Third promotion in 5 years… now if they could just stay up
Also, Derby County couldn’t come back from that points deduction deficit and were relegated to League One. Wonder what Wayne Rooneys going to do, bail to another team or try to help them back up next year? Will be interesting.
Rooney worked wonders with that club this season. They basically weren't able to sign any players because of the current financial situation, yet if not for the massive points deduction they would have been comfortably mid-table. As much as it would be nice to see him try and bring them back up, it might be best for his career to move on while his stock is pretty high. They are in dire straits financially, looking for new owner, and if one isn't found the club still runs the risk of going out of business in the near future.Fulham coming back up after securing promotion today. On one hand, you're right. But on the other, I can see how it would almost be more enjoyable that supporting a club like Everton who this year notwithstanding, are utterly mid-table PL. Almost every season there is both little chance of qualifying for Europe or relegation or winning one of the Cups. At least fans of a yoyo club get to see their team win SOMETHING.Being a fan of a yo yo club has to be exhausting. One season you’re getting obliterated and the next you’re top of the table.
