Quit with the moral victory bs

This team fought and didn't give up under Kiffin and Dooley (at least until the end of his 3rd season) as well.

The Dooley part is about as wrong as you can get, it didn't take until the end of his 3rd season, unless you are referring to his LTU days

GTFO troll. We almost grasped victory in the jaws of a 14 point deficit after half-time against the #6 team in the nation. Glass half empty or half full? Rather, are you a VFL, or are you a negaVol?

I agree 100%. I am more proud of our boys tonight than I have been in a long time. Wear your orange and be proud. GBO, ITS GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOL!!!!!!!!

I've been skeptical but I'm loving Butch now. The UT that played south Alabama shouldn't have been in a game against UGA. Let's stop hating each other and unite as a fanbase and direct our hate toward the real pos here ..... Wes Rucker.

Those weren't flukes. Tennessee has repeatedly hung with deeper, more talented teams over the last several years only to lose heartbreakers. You're telling yourself that so you think there's something "different" about today's moral victory.

They lost their top receivers and didn't have either of their top running backs. You see the difference?? Get ready to have another moral victory against South Carolina.

No it isn't. Tennessee had several "almost" moments before the team quit on him late last year.

2010 - at LSU, North Carolina (Music City Bowl)
2011 - Georgia, South Carolina
2012 - at Georgia, at South Carolina

Actually they did under Dooley. Those in the program would tell you that. This team has improved week by week under Butch. As much as I complained about Worley I saw a kid that just needed the reps to show improvement. I don't know what games you're watching but I see a team that's developing brick by brick.

Nope. South Carolina is going to steamroll Tennessee.

I wonder what his screen name is on here?

You should be happy. Moral victory, in this circumstance is acceptable.

Disagree, sure we tried hard, but we didn't get the win when it was there for the taking. The program doesn't turn the corner until we win these type of games.

I don't blame Howard for his effort on the play, but I truly believe Aaron Murray would have led the Dawgs to tie it up anyway. I think there would have been at least a second ot. Our defense was tired.Plus you can't blame Howard in the fact that Tennessee still had the opportunity to block the fieldgoal.

I agree totally. Pig gave it everything he had & sometimes it just doesn't work out so it is wrong to blame him. I believe we lost the game when it went into OT. Murray is just too good to give him that many chances. That 1:54 is what decided the game. We have to make a big play on D under pressure to finally turn the corner. We just aren't there yet and not sure when we will be unfortunately.

Don't be mistaken!

We turned the corner after half!

Sometimes you loose making progress!
