Its sad that the majority of our fan base can be excited and hopeful from a loss. We competed and almost won the game. Exactly as we should have, something that we should EXPECT every game.
I agree, people are seriously elated right now. I don't get it, I'm crushed. I think they are assuming that tonight's performance will be the standard from here on out or something.

It's true, sadly. Our play was encouraging--but today's loss was eerily like several killer losses under a previous coach who will not be named. However, I do think we are better coached now then under the coach who will not be named. Oh, OK--it was Coach Voldemort.
Everything you say is true, but shouldn't we expect that every game? The playing their hearts out part.So would you have rather we lost 0-50 and played like crap? No body is calling it a moral victory, but considering where our team is compared to GA, then you're dang right I'm proud of these guys. They played their hearts out tonight, and just came up short against the 6th ranked team in ot.
