I don't understand how anyone could not "get it" after tonights game. If you know football at all then you can see the progress. All 3 played well tonight. GBO!

Except we lost because of a coaching error (13 men on the field) instead of a effort error with pig stretching for a TD. Plus CBJ knew this game was in front of important recruits on our home turf in Neyland. More pressure than an away game at lsu with no such implications

Don't know about the moral victory thing, but I do feel better than after the previous losses this season. I actually feel better about the Vols and their chances going forward than after last weeks win. That one felt like a moral defeat.

No need to be a D!CK. I don't see anyone talking moral victories. I hate the loss as much as anyone else, but if you can't take something positive from the effort of the players, the coaching throughout the game, the overall scheme the coaches laid out in prep, and the fact this team played with more heart that any of us have seen in the past 7 years, then bless your poor miserable heart.

This team is headed in the right direction. After this game, I believe we could beat USC, Misery, Vandy, Aub, and KY jelly. Not saying we will, but it looks a lot more doable now than it did a couple of weeks ago.

Plus I see you failed to explain why we have no realistic shot at beating USc. Very convenient.

Are you autistic or retarded? We are rebuilding a losing team. We just almost beat a great ranked team. In that, its a big victory for us who have supported the vols the last 6 years.

We held strong in overtime but we let them march down the field in the 4th quarter with 1 min left. And then had 3 penalties inside the 5 yard line. To me, that was a meltdown.
