I would place him third In the SEC with Andy Kennedy as a better actual basketball coach awaiting a shot at a spot where he can recruit a little.
The ACC crew you mentioned is a herd of idiots. None should be coaching any longer. That will rectify itself soon enough.
I listed guys who disnt let the history of the program keep them from big wins, but that's how HOF guys roll. When you wanna call him elite, those are the standard.
We have to play D and execute on O. Until then, winning big games is going to haunt this team. CBP can get there, but our accepting less certainly doesn't help things.
Coaches absolutely learn over time. Those who don't, fail.
The majority of our federal budget goes to military spending and entitlements, but that doesn't mean that there isn't one helluva lot of money being poured into other worthless boondoggles.
Do you my Vol family remember what it was like before Pearl?! Do you remember the Curtains? Do you remember when beating an SEC team was a big deal? I have been a fan fot the last 36 years and I do remember! Go Vols!
BTW we will be in the sweet sixteen this year, Book IT
Another thread defending Bruce.
Some people just need validation of their beliefs I guess.

......It also seems like to me that people would be much happier if just like a pro style team had a wildcat package, if the Vols had some set plays in the offense that were part of a radically different look where you could call them in a matchup where you needed to stall or get a key basket people would be much happier. Bruce is not renowned by anyone as an X's and O's guy, but he is supposed to have some assistants who are great. As much as we practice and excel at frustrating teams trying to inbound the ball, it seems like perhaps we could get better at running a few key set plays.
