Recruiting Football Talk VIII

That’s fact.

But here’s another fact, I’m arguing against the “sunshine and rainbows crowd”

I’ll stay in the middle crowd where I’m looking at all sides, not just UTs. That way I’m not picking up torches if get left out. I’ll leave arguing and complaining to the “UT is perfect” crowd

You and GoodTime have never once said anything negative about the program. Y’all may complain, but never any negatives…always sunshine
I don't like this side of you.

Makes sense than and I am a Moran sometimes Miss state runs a variation of our offense so they spread out and attacked the middle like we do on other teams…we gave up yards on a light base to prevent big plays in the passing game which that Miss state QB has shown he can do against other sec teams this year
We got up on them and played a bit more 'prevent', willing to exchange yards for clock-time. If it became a shoot-out we were at a disadvantage, especially after Nico went out.

On offense, get first downs; chew clock; get points when you can.

On defense, prevent big plays and quick scores; chew clock; minimize damage in the red zone.

UT - 40
Notre Dame - 18

After one of the worst losses in school history to Rutgers, the Vols hosted #13 Notre Dame, who made their first visit to Knoxville. Jimmy Streater showed the 86,497 fans (school record at the time) a combination of fluent running and passing during the first half that allowed UT to score 30 pts. Jeff Olszewski lead the team in the second half after Streater’ knee injury, but the star of the day was Hubert Simpson. When Simpson signed with the Vols, he said, “I heard Tennessee doesn’t have a fullback. They do now.” The bruising fullback had 117 yrds and 4 TDs in the 40-18 Vols victory.

I was there. Still remember a lot of it. Really fun game. I recall shutting down Vegas Ferguson

I don’t like the media but you guys are right in pointing out their bias for certain teams and it could definitely play out how you say, we still however control our destiny
Yesssssssssss. Control our own destiny. I like this the best.

Just keep winning, so it shuts me up and everyone else up.

Btw I do think we beat UGA. I’m just trying to see **** from a middle perspective, not a UT one.

Well, yeah. That’s the exact way to handle it.

Why have a conversation with someone if it’s just “sunshine UT all the time”

Listen to me….it’ll be okay if UT gets a little criticism.
Listen to me, it’s ok to analyze and discuss a topic. It’s not your belief, so put me on ignore BS. I’m using facts. But that’s what the world has come to.
