He succeeded proudly. He covered up the one-sided officiating in two of GA's last three games. Reportedly extracted a promise not to drop GA if they lose in Atlanta. He got underdeserving Bama into the playoff with 3 losses, the third a real doozy. He got Bama an easier playoff track than us. And he succeeding in not fighting for us to host a game. He got us the worst draw in the playoff. Sankey sankeyed.Sankey should be on the hot seat for this
SEC talking heads and the national media spent all their time campaigning for Bama. Every article about the playoffs I saw Saturday featured a lede photo of Bama. And every day since. This bs needs to be fixed all teams not playing on a even playing field, osu, bama and Georgia get special treatment.. anyone else 9-3 wouldn’t be in the playoffs and if we lost at home as a 21 point favorite they would take us out to the playoffs entirely.. make it make sense enough people need to point this **** out specially sec talking heads about osu above Tennessee!
So is the officiating. And by "decision making" I mean intentions. No, not Arkansas. Regional and personal bias. If the final rankings resemble this week, that will be the only reason. Nothing objective about it. That the SEC brass agreed to this committee is an indictment to their decision making.
Lol not even all 13 members bothered showing up to discuss and vote. Can we please give the job back to the computers?
wtf. Pâté has gone soft in the head and hard into recruiting fan bases.I will say that we are universally under the radar in football for some reason. Josh Pate is now power rating South Carolina ahead of us. Our defense and run game get zero credit all because we don’t have explosive pass game.
It was a bribe in exchange for the votes of the non P4 schools. Also the championship games are huge money, so they wanted to keep them. But they’re incompatible with rational seeding. So they are going to play them but not count them. It's a truly asinine system. Your fellow PH D crowd invented it.
The committee will do whatever they want. They have said they won't drop teams and also hinted that they might drop teams, but not much. I'm not even going to watch the games. You saw what they did for Bama right? (And against us.) The only way to square that circle was #88,751.UGA can drop below us. Penn state can drop below us. Texas can drop below us.
This is why I don't fret over this situation, the committee will do exactly what they want whether any fan base likes it or not.The committee will do whatever they want. Illinois has been, by turns, in the 20s, falling off the chart, and popping back in near the bottom rung again. Next door neighbor to Memphis.A 1-loss Miami would easily be in, same as those 2.
PSU has Illinois. Correct on IU...awful schedule. Miami just topped them by losing a 2nd game
But they’d still be Big 10 2nd place finisher. Why would you move 2nd place finisher in the conference below the third place finisher? Y’all’s line of thinking is to punish a team for making it to their conference championship game. The two teams playing in each conference championship game are the first and second place finishers for their conference. So, even if you lose the conference championship game, you should NOT be ranked below the third place finisher.PSU might be super ugly. But I still think it'll count as a 3rd loss, though not the same as bamas 3rd loss.
