Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Ryan Day's formative years were largely influenced by music from the Indigo Girls.

I think that’s one of the biggest keys to the game to be able to go into Columbus and win, as well as possibly make a run to the NC…Nico has to be unleashed and allowed to run the ball frequently.
I still say we do not have to do anything special to beat OSU. The stage is big but the actors are not anything we have already faced. For my money Georgia, Alabama, and Florida are better teams than OSU that we have already seen. Howard is Greg McElroy 2.0, their other skill players are good though. Their o-line is not good. They don't generate pressure on defense without blitzing. They let Michigan run all over them who had literally no threat of a passing game. We are better where it counts, upfront. Michigan beat the hell out of them at the line of scrimmage, plain and simple.
Unless we turn the ball over, we win.

Anyone who doesn't see this as the main operating procedure in the media is a fool and a tool. And it ain't just football. And it is not merely overlooking the facts, it is the combination of lying and laziness. Crooks with an agenda and parrots too lazy to think for themselves or educate themselves.
T.H.I.N.K. for yourselves people. Tyranny is built on lies and useful idiots.
Chill just a little bit there. I am talking about a college QB who was overhyped, not about 911 or the USS Liberty or Pearl Harbor (and BTW yes, I am aware of the fake news, the deep state, and the banksters, fiat money, and all that jazz).

I was watching this fella doing an OSU podcast and he was talking about all the reasons they were going to whip us. One of his reasons was tradition and he said that OSU owned Tennessee. This was the only game that I remembered us playing them, and I was right. We have only played Blowhio one time and beat them.
The OSU pundit analysis i watched the common theme was exaggerate our weaknesses down play their own and generally act like OSU and Oregon are better than all the SEC teams.

I actually think cold and windy hurts them more than us. No I don't think our skill guys will love the cold. Laughably weather in both locations is basically identical.

I totally agree. We are built for inclement weather more than they are.

Both teams have monkeys on their backs. I think ours is a capuchin and theirs is a silver back.

Ours is playing good on the road in big games. Theirs is wining big games period and losing at home.

If we played in Neyland slam dunk to me Vols would roll. On the road I think it comes down to if we can score in the 1st quarter and get the fans against the home team. They are itching to boo Day. Rumors are Day's response to players about MI plan was not well received either. So there is real potential the players turn too.

Just win

Pundits aside, their entire fan base is checked the eff out. Ticket sales are in the toilet and prices are dropping. I believe confidence is low and they are waiting on this game to decide to get back on the wagon.

The momentum swings could not be more in our favor. I hope to see 30k+ in orange to set the mood.

We lived rent free in their heads over that Citrus Bowl for years! The only meaningful loss I remember to OSU was in the Sweet 16 when Pearl's Lofton & Co team was up by 18 in the first half and let them come back and win. Other than that, it's just delusion on their part.

You mean to tell me ARK had not one but two OL transfer out? Pittman’s personality is just so off putting he drove off two OL bc he can’t connect with his recruits and players.

***Checked and it turns out they had FIVE OL transfer out this year. Pittman must be such a weird guy!!***

Petrino is the weird guy
