When I was in my late thirties….. I developed a workout that worked really well for me….. I showed gains every single week and had gotten to where I could lift quite a bit and was getting fairly big for how I wanted to look…. One of the guys at my gym came over to me and asked what kind of supplements I took…. I told him I drink diet mountain dews which was the truth bc I didn’t do anything outside of working out…. Just ate regular food and drink diet mountain dews. LOL
The extra stuff they put in diet dew was your supplements

I've seen it mentioned already but the Oklahoma State punishment handed down portends very poorly for us. Feels like they're setting the stage to drop the hammer on UT. My BVS has me thinking our heavy handed punishment will be the last action the NCAA takes before ultimately being reconfigured or dissolved completely. I could see Pruitt being their key source. I'm legit worried about this.
I’m trying to let it go but I have never ever seen bending the knee to the NCAA work out for anyone.

Had more muscle mass in my twenties. Then I discovered cardio, and leg workouts...which I still loveD (edit) in my thirties. Have some tendonitis in knees so running is a tad touch and go.

Anymore its walking 3-5 miles or getting on the medieval torture device known as an elliptical. #40's #dad workout

I’m back to heavy lifting of weights (just started again)…. I don’t do load bearing weight lifting such as squats anymore…. I try to get my cardio playing sports with my kids…I have been doing wind sprints with my youngest…. It’s the oddest feeling in the world…. It feels like I have no balance at all.

Watched Snit post game. Then Freddy interviews. Couple things occured. Super happy for the 'good guys' meaning nice people to excel. Hard work does pay off.

Also, Freeman's hair got passed down to his kids. Sadly my son will have hair until his thirties. Sorry bud. You'll have to find a Braves hat to wear!

You have a lot of confidence in a school that wouldn’t even stand up to the NCAA over a Bruce Pearl BBQ. The UTAD has been impotent for years.

This always gets stated. I agree that I was pissed at the time, but I truly believe in hindsight that Pearl lied to his own administration, and that created a rift. People will go to bat for you when you are upfront, but all bets are off when you aren’t.

Man, What was it like never making any mistakes at 22 years old? No speeding or anything.. wow.
What he did was terrible and he should be punished, but it was an accident. He didn’t hunt this lady down and kill her on purpose. Accidents like this happen every single day
Once again...not an "accident"

We could go burn down their building..

Accidents yes.

This is drunken vehicular homicide.
Big difference. If your daughter was killed by a drunk driver, you would just shrug and say oh well, just an accident? Really?
That attitude right there..is why this evil 🦬💩 keeps happening to innocent people..

"Hey..I made "mistakes" when I was a "kid", so it is not that bad...it was just an accident. I was a lucky ******* idiot, so I would be a hypocrite to acknowledge what a despicable evil thing it is to end someone's life with homicidal selfish stupidity"

What happened at OSU is a drop in the bucket to what they are going to do to us.

The universities need to get together and tell these heavy handed morons to stand down.

And our attorneys will then show them the precedents previously set by the ncaa for marquee schools and give them the Double Gauldens of course.

Then Tennessee administration will tell them that we can do this the easy way, accept that we fired the entire coaching staff, made the AD retire, and imposed a reduction of scholarship players by more than 10. Those players transferred as they were required to as part of Tennessee’s self-imposed punishment.
Publically, the ncaa can agree that’s worse sel-imposed punishment than they would hand down.

If anything else happens, then Tennessee will Volunteer to lead the change with no more ncaa. They can do this the hard way or the easy way.
Unfortunately, the brass at Tennessee doesn’t have the stones to do that. I wish they would.

I have a different theory on this particular situation Tennessee is in with Cornbread. The ace in the sleeve for Tennessee I think is Saban. If Cornbread and company push this too far, Tennessee will present a pattern of evidence they uncovered in the discovery phase of this lawsuit going back to his time with Saban at Alabama. Saban will give the word to shut this thing down and move on.

Wow……. You seriously think people drive highly intoxicated at 156 mph every day?!?! And I don’t care what age he is, I’ve made plenty of mistakes and did a lot of bad things in my life. I never drove crazily while intoxicated and killed someone. Glad this is ok and an every day occupancy to you. I guess you should go tell her family that he is just young and this happens everyday and they will feel better. Holy hell man.

Yeah, Nashville is my hometown. In my twenties I’d have a blast with those parties. Obviously now, no way, too old for that. But can see how it’d be a nightmare. Nashville has evolved into something else. Downtown is full crazy.
Oh for sure. We avoid downtown like the plague. Only hang around midtown or east. Sometimes will go to south nash for places like Flamingo

Completely agree. Pruitt has already shown he's willing to snitch to try to get this payment. If that's the case, he'll have to talk about his time at Alabama, Georgia, and Florida State. There are several major schools that could be impacted and that's why I also think this eventually turns out not as severe as the worst case scenario many are assuming.

My guess based on penalties that Auburn, Miami, and Alabama all got in the past? 2 year bowl ban, loss of scholarships, and recruiting restrictions for 3 years is the worst case scenario.

I also am really curious, given the current culture climate what the reaction would be if we were to have a really good season and the NCAA punished coaches and players for the actions of people that aren't around anymore. That's always been dumb, but feels like the power of social media might really revolt against that in the current day.

That isnt compartmentalization. It's bizarro world. Did anyone mention free will? Near perverted logic as Islamists using Quran to justify murder.
You're right it isn't compartmentalization. But you're wrong that it's the same thing as what terrorists do. It's human nature to try to rationalize when an unexpected tragedy or disappoint occurs, it's called a coping mechanism. Don't be part of the vilification outrage crowd. People abandon logic when a tragedy happens, and coping mechanisms are often part of the reason for that. It's nowhere in the vicinity of justifying thousands of years of premeditated mass murder.
