We are doing exactly what the talking heads around here have said we need to do… 1st thing - cement ourselves as the 3rd best team in the East, and then build to where we can compete with uga and florida. We had slipped out of the top three the past few years..Most everybody that halfway knows what they’re talking about would agree that we are ahead of schedule

Nope year two. Matt Luke was never gonna do anything at Ole Miss. he couldn’t win 6 games with AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, Elijah Moore and Dawson Knox on his team. He couldn’t develop talent outside of a few players Freeze signed for him

Luke was a placeholder with the NCAA investigations. Kiffin has done a great job at OM. They’ll be back down next year when Corral leaves.

Overall I’m not happy about losing to the “big 3” ever but I’m happy with the progress that was made with players that are simply outmatched vs those teams. Love the fight but still aways to go. Finish strong 7-5 with a bowl win and hit the road recruiting strong. GBO!

He brought those guys in and re stocked the roster for Lane to come in with some talent. We are where Luke was in year 1
