Lane at South Beach would be amazing for College football. I find the Shapiro rumor less likely when he said Randy Shannon as DC for the combo. I could see Randy being part of staff but the actual DC doesn’t seem like a Lane move. Also agree with the admin and resources just not very good at Miami right now.
Maybe. South Beach is also 35 minutes away from Miami's campus. Worse facilities than Ole Miss. Stadium may as well be on the moon.

Lane Kiffin in The Grove is better for Lane Kiffin. 😏💁🏼‍♀️

Wild that Sark is catching so much heat in year 1 already. He wasn’t able to bring much of anything in last class based on when hired. Defense was left in horrific shape and that is clearly the problem. Offensively signs are there if their potential… and folks say we are unreasonable

He inherited Tom Herman's 7-3 squad, I think most folk expected him to just pick right up and win. Also losing to Kansas was a bad loss.

True, but almost have to assume Lane’s got the ego to think he can get it back to the early 2000s Miami.
He would be working overtime to undo bad leadership for 15 years, mend broken relationships down there to fix their recruiting, appease an admin that doesn't understand football or appreciate "The U."

Too many cooks in the kitchen down there, and none of them are cooks.

Is AP referring to Tayven Jackson as being most important commit as an overall player in the class, or the most important commit to sign early because Ole Miss is after him?

When you lose to the Vanderbilt of their conference…. Fans will never be accepting of that.

16 team conference. No pods. No divisions. Each team has 3 permanent rivals.
That leaves 12 teams to schedule. Play 6 of these teams in even years. The other
6 in odd years. Any player who stays 4 years will have played each other team at
least twice and will have played in every stadium at least once. Top two teams
play in championship game. Problem solved. SIMPLE
This would require a 9 game conference schedule.
Because your idea was so simple and old fit on a cocktail napkin it will never be considered.

Just don't call it year 0

If Strong beats Kansas that last season, he stays at least one season. Was THE deal killer. In retrospect, that happens and Herman to LSU is fait accompli and landscapes altered in the multiverse. 😏
