Tim Banks needs to spend his off days in the office, watching film, to be better next year. He needs to earn his paycheck on that. He flat out needs to be smarter than the offensive side. I don't want him fired for this year, next year I still have some slack but he needs to wreak havoc in the 2023 class defensively as does the whole staff.

OK, the season is over and it has been a blast watching a team that scores points in bunches and plays hard on both sides of the ball. Yesterday was the first time all year that I thought "OVERALL" our game plan was a little lacking and not executed really well on top of that.

Everybody needs to remember that we left a ton of points on the field and our D just looked unprepared at times. it was just one of those games that happens to everybody. It is not a total collapse of the program or a harbinger of things to come. The team just played bad yesterday period.

Make no mistake we are making huge strides in the right direction and the staff, players and fans know this. As soon as we start getting the players CJH wants and needs then we will see that they can and are building a program back the right way.

Be pissed because we lost, be pissed at some if not all of the calls made against us, be pissed by some of the play calling but remember we are going to be really good in the future and to get good you have a slip up every once in a while. GO VOLS !!!!

Banks drops 8 way too much imo. Most defenses that are really good play a lot of man and then send rushers from all kinds of weird spots. Its too easy to scheme up a defense that just drops into zone over and over.

If the defense doesn't improve significantly next year...then he will have to go.
As much as I want it to improve I'm not sure expecting it to get better, much less significantly better is realistic.

The 30 we lost will hurt us just as much next year as it did this year, maybe even more so next year.

I looked on Twitter last night and there are quite a few non-Tennessee media and other personalities saying it was an absolutely horrendous call. Even some rival teams alumni players. Of course, McElroy from SECN can suck it.
I think it's pretty widely accepted that everyone witnessed the refs conduct a prison rape on live national television.

So just fire him huh. The defense struggling has nothing to do with this thin roster that he inherited? Shoot let’s just fire everyone and start all over again. SMH

Fire everyone
Yep
That’s exactly what I said…..
Not anywhere did I say that
Can’t a guy be pissed off at a coach whose scheme gives up big plays quite a bit
But
Everyone gets a participation ribbon right
CTM and CWM need to start coaching those guys up better

I sincerely question whether Heupel is the guy - whether his schemes will work in the sec, long run.

I don’t want to be a Debbie downer but all we really did this year was catch a lot of people off guard and beat up on bad teams.

I’m far less optimistic about year two today than I was just a few days ago.

I recommend taking some time to reflect on your life choices and try to really get to the root cause of where you went wrong in life. Smdh.

The worst part of it is, everyone knows what happened and yet nothing will be done about it. Nothing at all. Just wouldn't be a Tennessee season without at least one obvious screwjob.
Between the refs and the fake injuries, UT didn't stand a chance. I hate saying that, because I generally laugh when people claim the refs cost us a game, but this is undeniable.

Tells me he doesn't trust the secondary in man, which last night highlighted that problem. Of course the refs bailed out good man coverage for Purdue all night as well.

Really just got to hope that WM/Banks both can improve the secondary with more practice and recruits. I'd say we'll see them try to add more CBs in the portal as well.

Our DBs can't play man-to-man. You witnessed that last night. When we did it was first down or DPI. We need more Jimmies and Joes on the backend.

I was trying to forget about the no-calls on Purdue PI and the extreme PI calls against UT.

This crew needs to be investigated. An example should be made.
