Bad officiating crews should not be rewarded with postseason games period. It's bad in every sport. In this years World Series they had some of the worst umpires at calling balls and strikes and if I remember correctly the worst in the entire league was part of the crew. It's embarrassing. Not sure if college has a union but it's 100% to blame in MLB.
They have to take what they can with refs. There aren't a ton of crews and the ones they do have are underpaid.

They need to pay refs more and put in their contract that they have to do media as well. It would solve a ton of these phantom call issues.

Here is a fact for everyone...dumbass negas and dumbass sunshine pumpers alike..

Once we have any semblance of just a decent defense, this is a 10+ win team...hell it already was this year if not for garbage cheating bent refs even with a horrid defense.

For those that say they see no hope, it is because you have your ******* eyes closed dumbass.
McGill you're on a roll and your right. I'm sick of the bull we have endured just in the season alone.

Ratings don’t matter unless you are in the top 5 and sometimes not even then…. We will find out what kind of evaluators our coaches are soon enough…. We need a few stars…. The majority be a solid college player and very few misses…. If we do that then we will continue to grow as a program.

Biggest thing is we need players to stay in the program and develop. A lot of decent classes on paper have ended up busts in reality because the top half of the class is playing at other schools right now.

I think huepel will have better success with getting his recruits to believe in the process and stick around.

For all the criticism Jeremy Banks received this year his final stats look like this: 128 tackles 11.5 TFL 5.5 sacks 1 INT 4 PD.

This noise about Jeremy Banks not being good or an SEC LB is dumb. He played great last night and had a great year. Just needs to chill out on the extra curriculars. His closing speed last night looked like JRM and pre injury Kirkland imo.

We need a Verse type player on the D- line and someone to step up and help Tillman next year. That would get us to 9 or 10 wins . I think we may have the O- line help.

We need great talent because it's obvious Banks can't do more with less, i.e. Heupel. We'll just have to wait to see who's right. I have an idea that Banks won't be here in 2023.

In regards to that, if have a defense rated in the bottom half of the SEC next year, do you still think he's good or do you think he needs 4-5 years to produce a better than average defense?
I don’t pre judge a season bc there are always so many variables….. we had guys including defensive tackles playing 100 snaps….. I don’t think anyone else would have performed better as a defensive coach with this roster.
We have to fix our depth issues.

Here is the thing that bothers me: The line judge started saying immediately that he said forward progess was stopped. (You can see him talking to the ref.) Thus making it not reviewable. If he swallows his pride and says his knee was down then let review do its job. Why make such a critical call and then make sure it can't be reviewed?

If Derek Barnett was playing yesterday…. It would have helped our secondary so much…. Need that level of guy again.

SHHHHH! You had us at dumbass negas and dumbass sunshine pumpers alike..

Just want to say, everything that happened last night not withstanding...this year was the most fun Ive had watching this team in years and I'm ****ing proud of these boys. Whatever deficiencies they had, they didnt lack heart and after the BS we've put up with the last however many years, that was just so refreshing. Can't wait for next season.

You gotta be one mentally tough sob to be a Rutgers fans.

Also, Wake Cheerleaders. Hope they get a good education. Bet they have lots of guy friends.

Re: transfer portal guys

We aren’t going to know who we are in on unless the players themselves make it public. Apparently the staff doesn’t want to attract attention to guys they feel are flying under the radar.
And that tells me they don't feel confident pulling in "the big fish". Hopefully we can attract one or two and back fill with guys who can fill immediate roles. We really need help on the defense and if Cade doesn't stay I still think we need another OL for depth at the very least.

1. The rule must benefit bammer. The end.

Three things that need to happen to prevent fake injuries.
1. Injured player must sit entire series
2. Both teams remain in their huddle and can't go to sidelines to talk with coaches. Water can be brought to players by training staff only.
3. Defense can only substitute for injured player unless offense makes substitutions.

We can solve the ACC issue. The officials treatment of non-conference teams is authorized at the ACC office as well as the SEC. The ACC contracts their officials and the SEC agrees to it in the matchups.

The primary solution is to not play ACC schools. However, if paired in a bowl game by the SEC office and whenever ACC officials are scheduled for use, refuse to play the game unless the officials are changed. Make it public so everybody knows why. It can be a public bluff, because the players should not be penalized and be withheld from playing. But the public display puts the officials and the conference offices in the spotlight nationally.

Sunlight on their shenanigans will lead to change if more do it and stay consistent. Sitting around saying/doing nothing and pretending we are all one big happy SEC family is pure BS.

My respect for Doeren grew this past week for his public statement. Wish more would get a clue.

Until we become the conference black hats who still play within the rules on game days, we will be the doormats the rest tread on.
