I was told by a local media guy that the Haslams have checked out. Jimmy and wife don't even live in Knoxville now, at least most of the year. @LA Vol has said Charlie E doesn't have any interest in supporting athletics. He does buy advertising so I thought NIL (legitimate marketing opportunities) might tempt him but idk. There's the guy that owns HT Hackney company, he's boosted in the past. Thunder is an oldie but not sure where he is. Owner of Ruby Tuesdays maybe? And, you've got Peyton. I'd be willing to bet he's contributing but I'm not sure what level.

We've had zero issues landing the 3 star recruits. Danny White needs to let these boys do their thing with the 4 and 5 star recruits. We led for and have struck on all the high profile recruits after we had all the momentum. I have zero confidence in Our NIL efforts at the moment. We're not measuring up with these other schools which is frustrating to witness. We're defintely not going to have a top 10 class and until that changes, 8 or 9 wins will absolutely be our ceiling.

There's no guarantee Mauigoa will stick with UM. There's no guarantees with NiL. Let's see after we come out firing bullets this season, Ruiz stays under scrutiny, and Year 1 Cristobal shows up.

We haven’t had a good offensive line in a long time. He was similarly ranked to Trey who was also a guard. We swung and miss. It sucks to see. No sugarcoating it here. Getting and developing big time recruits is what enables you to make the next step.

LOL. Lets take more money from everyday people in the middle of a recession and give it to undeserving 18 year old kids to play a game. Fans already spend a ridiculous amount on tickets, travel, merchandise donations etc..... and now theyre supposed to supply a fund for for kids to get a contract. The NIL money should come from the schools and their TV revenue and sponsorship money. Set a salary cap and lets schools spend their revenue how they see fit.

Fans have been handing this University money for years and got nothing in return. Now is the worst time for people to be handing their hard earned money over to hand out to a 18 year old kid. Pruitt finally ended my time from handing over money. Been doing it since 81. So before anybody tries to blame the fans lets see how much money these same people have been investing for years. The country is falling a part and the last thing I am going to do is hand money over for it to be given to some kid to play a game. Id rather make sure a veteran or elderly has food to eat.

Lol they handed the Uni money for new $800k weights...one year after already renovating the weight room.

This is actually going to things that win games FOR ONCE. And while I'd agree players should be paid via universities (which, hey hey, how is that funded again? Fans) as well as NiL, that simply isn't the case rn.

We can either be a part of the solution for UT football or not. That's your choice. It's not UT's fault they aren't allowed to pay players.

I get what you're saying, but as far as Echols goes, he's not part of the current class, which is what most people are focused on. He's a great pick-up, but also one we'll have to hold onto for over a year. What will he do if Ruiz offers him big bucks, too? We may find out.

I really hope we land Seldon. If we lose out on him, this board is gonna be a mess. Truthfully, I don't think we can afford to lose out on him or Sham. Thursday and Friday are going to be important for this class.

how people go off the deep end losing a recruit in the day of the transfer portal. Who’s to say any recruit TN loses OR signs won’t be on the move again in a year or two or three? Whether we like it or not that‘s the way the game works these days—the market for quality players has never been more fluid. Relax.
